Café 63 Highfields Plaza — Restaurant in Queensland

Won't be going back to this place! Ordered 2 coffee's and a sodawater. Staff came back 5mins later advising they were out of sodawater. We ordered a gingerale instead. Young kid came back to take our meal order and couldn't answer our questions. After walking around for a while (like he forgot to ask for us) he returned 5 to 10mins later with a sort of answer. We placed an order for a pie, chips and gravy and a fish and chips with gravy. He walked away to another table and took an order from another couple. Finally after another 5 or so mins he dawdled off to place both orders. We sat for around another 15 mins and the other couples meals came out. We sat for a further 10mins and the kid dawdled back to say they had no pies!! This is now over half an hour of waiting and our coffee's had gone cold. We shook our heads and couldn't believe that we had been left sit for so long before dawdling back to us with another out of stock item. So many drinks/meal options out of stock and very poor service to say the least. We left without being served any meal and complained to the man who appeared to be the owner/manager. We said we would pay for our drinks only as we didnt receive and meals. No aplogy received from him just...

Café 63: Our New Go-To with Some Serious Standouts

After our regular coffee spot shut down, my mate and I were on the hunt for a new place to catch up, and Café 63 in Highfields has quickly become our favourite. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it easy to settle into our new routine. It’s the kind of place where they remember your order after a few visits, which is always a nice touch.

Now, let’s talk food. The BBBB burger is an absolute standout—big, bold, and bursting with flavour. If you’re a burger lover, it’s a must-try. And as for the eggs Benedict, it’s nothing short of amazing. Perfectly poached eggs, a rich hollandaise, and all the trimmings—this dish has set a new standard for our brunches.

All in all, Café 63 has filled the void left by our old haunt, and then some. Great food, friendly service, and a cosy spot to catch up—what more could...

Absolutely disgusted with the service or lack of service provided by the high fields store tonight.

The closing time of the store is 9pm yet we arrive as a family of 6 at 7:10pm to have a meal and got turned away at the door that they weren’t serving anymore meals.

To the chef out the back who made the call and the serving staff, we have been repeat customers of your particular store for 5yrs.

After tonight you have just permanently lost this family, our $200 order that comes with us each time and I will be making sure our we take our money where it’s more appreciated.

I would say to any potential customers avoid this restaurant if you want to grab a meal within 2hours of it closing, you will only be disappointed...
