Hotel Hinchinbrook — Restaurant in Queensland

After waiting 50 mins for our food to arrive we were disgusted at what arrived, my ribs were boiled not barbecued and every time I took a bit I got little pieces of bone grisal or fat and portion size was small and the sauce tasted like it came out of a bottle, the steak was meant to be medium and was raw and bleeding and the chicken was overcooked and dry and the fish well lets say I have cooked better and where were the chips? After bringing my mother and sister in for a meal after arriving from Sydney and having great expectations my family were shattered and after paying $98 for this slop made it worse, Thank God there was McDonald's in town other wise we would have gone hungry, My wife and I will never come back to this restaurant and I will be certainly...

Steak Burger & Chips: IT DID NOT FALL APART! This burger was to die for, enjoyed every mouthful. All the ingredients on it were very fresh, nicely lightly toasted bun with a juicy piece of steak!

400g Rump Steak, Chips & Salad: A juicy-mouthwatering thick cut rump, BBQ grilled to perfection!!! Complimented by the freshed salad & juciest hot chips. YUMO!

Beer/Service/Atmosphere: Beer was cold, delicious & promptly served by the very friendly staff who made us feel very welcomed.

Wait time for service and meals was next to nothing and there was customers alreadt dining in with plenty more walking in at the time of ordering.

Excellent quality for lunch!

Had dinner here with husband and three little kids, while we were stuck in Ingham cause of flooding. The activity packs they had for kids were great and included stickers, cards as well as colouring in and crayons. The food was good. The staff were lovely to us and kind to the children. While we were waiting for dinner (took a while), I took the kids into the darts room (it wasn't being used by adults), so the toddlers and preschoolers could let off some steam and I switched the tv to the kids channel. The staff were fine with it (thank goodness!!!!). Once the food arrived, it was good. Once again, thankyou to the kind service staff...
