KFC Bundaberg East — Restaurant in Queensland

45 minute wait on App order 1579 placed by my wife 7:10pm 1-8-23. Told 7:13 there would be 25 minute wait which was a lie. They wanted to persuade her to change MY ORDER. No. Received order 7:55pm. Not the first time at this store. Would love to know who the owner is to make a direct complaint as head office doesn’t care either. Pathetic excuse for a business let alone customer service. AVOID THIS STORE (Bundaberg East). I have found the Bundaberg West store (263 Bourbong Street) to be much more reliable. I don’t understand how the “bread and butter product” (original recipe chicken) has to be cooked from scratch OR they have run out. To me, this is a management problem. Clearly they are not organised enough to plan ahead and cook more in advance when stocks get low. Why is this the case. Does the store owner know about this continual problem. Chicken was old and hard. Had been cooked twice because was sodden with oil and black. Chips had no taste but often chips from Bundaberg East KFC don't even seem to get seasoning put on them! So no surprise here! Rang up. Supposed Manager (doubt if he was, cos they are all so young with no manners, no pride in their job or service dealing with the public) was unhelpful. Seems the Owner of KFC Bundaberg East really doesn't give a damn about the hundreds of dissatisfied customers who live locally but refuse to go to this Store, making the journey into Bourbong Street KFC instead!! Went here tonight at 9:15pm and ordered on the app. there were three separate orders made by three separate people. The larger order wanted hot and spicy chicken and they didn't have any, they also wanted original burgers and they also didn't have any. When talking to the person serving, they rolled their eyes multiple times when asked about replacing the hot and spicy chicken with wicked wings. She left and didn't come back and then just gave us original. The second order was a twister meal and the wrap was really stale. The third didn't come out too bad. The customer service wasn't real great and they were rude. A women walked it while we were waiting and she was ignored for 10 mins before being served, only to walk out due to lack of food available.I really think this KFC needs better management and actually training the staff about customer service.
