La Cucina Pizza & Pasta House — Restaurant in Queensland

Phone order told 35 minutes I arrived on time pizza sat waiting for the rest of my order which they had just started to make as I arrived. Total time 65 minutes. Needless to say the pizza was a soggy mess. Never heard the words sorry about that said that many times to customers waiting. There were a lot of unhappy people I spoke to 4 while we waited. I won't be back. Michelangelo's on Bamford runs rings around this place. They need to clean the places as well, not many places have a printer sitting on the waiting room floor. I have yet to try their takeaway, as such this review is subject to change. Came here with my father and experienced good customer service in a nice small family environment.

Wait times for the food were slightly longer than average, however this is likely due to us being the only people dining in on a seemingly rather quiet night not too long from closing time.

The food itself tasted great, consisting of seemingly good quality fresh ingredients. My dish in particular had a very nice and thick creamy sauce. Pricing for the food was slightly higher than somewhere like fasta pasta however I believe that the quality and taste mostly makes up for this, as well as the small business and takeaway aspects of this place.

Overall can very much recommend coming here both for a good feed and to support a family run...

Tonight we ordered 4 large pizzas.... all were great and cooked to perfection. I did order the pepperoni again and it was as it should be, cheese and lots of pepperoni.

Just goes to show that one poor experience may not mean it's not great food. Thank you La Cucina for my family's food tonight. It was delicious.

Some of the pieces of pepperoni pizza had 2 pieces of pepperoni on each piece of pizza. Half had only 1... Very disappointing 😞

Thanks for replying, I've had a look and I did find maybe another 1 or 2 pieces under the cheese, only on some slices though. Added another star but I still think it was more a cheese pizza with some...
