27 of March 2024 approx time 2115. Went through the drive-thru on the left hand side. After waiting for 5mins and not having my order taken I moved forward and reversed back into the right hand lane. After being asked what would I like to order I explained to the staff member the left hand lane was faulty causing vehicles to either reverse or move forward to have orders taken at the working service point. Concerns raised didn't register with the staff member who brushed off safety concerns with "can I take your order". On asking if what I'd said had been understood the response was "sorry for that". On having my order taken the food I was purchasing didn't appear on the display screen, I asked why my order wasn't showing on the display screen I was told that function wasn't working. I drove forward to the pay station and I was confronted by the manager asking what my problem was. I mentioned the left hand lane was faulty causing vehicle's to reverse or move forward and reverse which is a risk hazard. The manager replied he wasn't aware of the issue. Whilst listening to the managers excuse I could see on the CCTV security screen more vehicles using the left hand lane and reversing back. I asked the manager how this was an oversight when it was clearly depicted on CCTV? The manager replied "No need to be angry about it, and did I want my order taken or not". The manager brushed aside my concerns showed little to no interest. On exiting the drive-thru I could see further vehicle's having to reverse back. This is nothing unusual for Edge Hill McDonalds. The staff seem completely disengaged with their duties. Its a complete hit and miss scenario every time. Zero consistency on coffee. Its either burning hot or stone cold. And don't bother asking for sugar. You can guarantee they'll...
Read moreIt was the late hours of the night and the cold air seemed to hold an almost otherworldly feeling. Walking through the Picconees parking lot, a group of men dressed in all black approached me. I was unable to see their faces, but I could sense their intent. Choosing to walk in the opposite direction. I turned. Then their footsteps turned into a sprint. I bolted as well . It seemed to be the end for me but suddenly, a car pulled out in front of me. The reflection of the Golden arches beaming into the dark carpark. From the black hatchback vehicle two figures stepped out. Both dressed in a grey shirt and black trousers. As I made myself into a ball on the carpark floor, I could hear the sounds of fighting ensuing behind me. Looking up for only a second, I could see the two figures battling the group of men. Then both men made a single hand sign, and whispered a language unknown to me.
Then a singular fairly large black spherical shape sat dormant in front of me. Nothing but the sound of a car driving down Pease Street. Fearing the unknown I fled to behind the Postal Offices' bench. Turning back to see the Ball had disappeared and the two men stood, barely damaged. I approach them and Thank them for rescuing me. They both spoke softly and kindly. I asked for their names. One named Emmett and the other named Zane.
I asked them of how they could perform such unseen skills. They both laughed and said
"Just the everyday Job for a Maccas Manoora Manager"
Then they smiled and hopped back into their car. Being able to breath. I hopped into my car and decided to get some food in respect of their Job....
and they still messed...
Read moreOrdered at drive-thru. Went to pay and the young girl asks what is it that you ordered? There was nothing on the screen. I said 3 frappes and she says 'If you gotta transfer, I'm gonna have to ask you to go around again coz there are other people waiting"... umm no, I'm not going around again! And this scrawny looking guy, who looks like he's just graduated from primary school, (must've been the manager) says we're not gonna serve you again. I told them, it's my turn! I've waited in line before! Those other people can wait! Paid for for my 2 orders and drove off! I can't believe I got that service that day. I go to that Maccas drive-thru, nearly every day for coffee or every now n then for happy meals for my kids. I have never experienced that before. It got me really mad! I've waited in line for long time before and I never complain about it. For staff to hurry customers up because they can't control their slow staff inside, it's so unprofessional! Not good service! I will never go to that...
