Miss India Takeaway and Restaurant - North Rockhampton Norman Gardens — Restaurant in Queensland

So I quite often ordered from here takeouts and last night I ordered my usual butter chicken and rice. And within two hours of eating it I was violently vomiting and then the whole night every hour I was violently sick.

When I called to advise I had food poisoning they responded “it wasn’t from us” I said “well aside from porridge for breakfast that’s all I’d eaten that day, perhaps this occasion the chicken was not properly cooked.” I said I’d eaten there many times but wanted to call so they were aware of it and They didn’t offer any compensation nor any remorse. They hung up the phone.

It’s been 24 hours and I’m still feeling absolutely awful. The customer service on this occasion...

Walked in at 08:30pm OPEN sign still lit up and sign on the door saying open until 09:00pm all hot boxes were empty and staff said "sorry we decided to close early" on another occasion while waiting to be served I watched a staff member use tongs to pick up a flat bread from the hot box, the customer asked "how soft is that?" So the staff member let her feel it and when she said "oh no thats rock hard" he put it back in the hot box and took out another, this proceeded through 4 or so breads before the customer finally found one she liked.... all the time each bread being put back in the hot box after she...

I ignored the review ratings and still went as I was hoping to get a good naan.

This place is a disaster, food seems to be heated and possibly reheated the next day. The prices are high for what you are getting.

Please do not try any naans this place, they are all rubbish. If they would have used Indian cold naan from a grocery store it would be 10 times better than what they gave. It is not naan for god sake, not sure what that was. We threw all of it. Have a look at the photos.

No aircon in such a hot weather.

The only positive about the store was the girls at the front, they were nice....
