Overpriced for the homestyle, not restaurant quality, that they promise. Very rude event manager who can't even organise an event properly as requested by the client. Also very rude and under qualified chef who's cooking skills are not up to restaurant standard. As a place where pensioners tend to frequent one would think that meal prices would be affordable for them instead of making them feel like they are paying for a 5 star quality meal.

Overall food was great, service was good. Prices reasonable. Had the crumbled steak with garden vegetables and mash potatoes as well as the chicken pesto pasta. Steak had a crispy breading, and paired with an amazing pepper sauce. Veggie was well seasoned, and mash was buttery. Pesto pasta was creamy and flavourful. It was different from expected as it used a cream base. Portions for the food were large and filling.

This RSL has recently employed a new chef. What a noticeable upgrade in the food menu and presentation. Nanango RSL has won me back over. Food was great and the desert, amazing. Thank you guys! Merry Christmas.

First up, I'm not a member of the Nanango RSL Sub Branch (I am at another). I wanted to attend the Dawn Service and March with close friends "Brothers, from different conflicts (Afghanistan myself). Unfortunately my wife is unable to walk without extreme pain as waiting on double hip replacement. Due to my wife's situation, I wouldn't have been able to attend the Dawn Service gunfire breakfast and march, as couldn't leave her at home alone in case of fall. The Nanango RSL Sub Branch organised a wheelchair for my wife, so we could Honour ANZAC DAY as it should be, by taking away the stress without even knowing us. Words cannot explain how much this extraordinary act of kindness and generosity meant to my wife and myself. Thank you so very much. Dan Murphy Afghanistan...

Very disappointed. Took my partner who is an ex serviceman and family for dinner. Thai beef had coriander in it that was not mentioned in the menu, also cashews instead of peanuts. The entrée came out after the meals only because we asked where it was. The dessert was also forgotten about. Yes, we did get our money back for the dessert and garlic bread but didn’t appreciate the staff talking about our issues amongst themselves. Chef was drinking and could be seen doing so. Prices were extreme considering it is a servicemens club. Nearly $200 for 4 people. Wont be back or...

Dropped by Nanango RSL for dinner. Place has a nice vibe, especially for celebrations. Food's pretty good and portions are generous. Had the crumbed steak with veggies and mash - solid choice. The pepper sauce was a standout. Heard the chicken pesto pasta's good too, but it's creamy, not traditional. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service was friendly and efficient. They go the extra mile for special occasions - balloons and all. Overall, it's a reliable spot for a satisfying meal in Nanango. Worth checking out if you're in town and looking for...
