AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is the worst Red Rooster we’ve ever encountered. Go to the one at Canelands instead. Where to start? Well from the top. The Manager on duty was obviously having quite the bad day. The Girl serving us with all the piercings etc.. was absolutely useless. and the food was abysmal. So let me tell you what happened. We literally only ordered 4 Rooster rolls. That’s it! After about 40 minutes of waiting we asked what’s taking so long. No apologies for the wait or warning about the wait time, they finally confessed they’d run out of rooster rolls and that they’d given our order to an Uber eats order!!!!!. The Girl serving left the Mananger to deal with it. Rather than keep us informed they said “we’ll be back in 2 minutes.” During this “2 minutes” which turned out to be yet another 30mins, the Girl just kept going outside to talk to her boyfriend and have a smoke. The Manager, apart from yelling at his staff, apparently was “making” the rooster rolls out back. When she finally came back in, she gave us no updates as she was obviously trying to avoid being yelled at for her incompetence as well, before the Manager came back out. So finally after waiting 1 hour and 10 mins he came out with the worst Rooster Rolls we’d ever had. My wife had complained saying she’s worked in Red Rooster and why are we waiting for something that spends 2 minutes in a microwave, and said we need to leave. We took the rolls as I had to get to sleep for night shift and needed dinner. The Manager yelled at us now. We left in absolute disgust. First order came wrong order Recieved 1 piece chicken instead of 8 pieces no chips no coleslaw no potato and gravy. Contacted door dash the organised for a re delivery of correct order waited another 1.5 hours only to receive 8 buttermilk wings that were cold and horrible 4 corn and 1 small gravy definetly not the order we had placed and definitely not $60 worth. By this time it was already 8.20pm so over 2.5 hours since first placing order. Rang the store to get your so called manager steven Wow what can i say from the time he answered the phone, the experience was bad no good evening no nothing just this is steven. Tried to explain to him what was going on, he had no apology not even a care, first thing was he ran out of fried chicken so replaced with buttermilk wings.. then i said mate this is the 2nd order that you guys have stuffed up tonight for him to say yeah whatever and hung up in my ear. His lack of management skills or even customer service is absolutely shocking. Read moreRude staff at counter order wrong missing items. When rang store about incident got disgruntled manager who did no what to be at work that day. Won't name names here. When told about missing items they said they will add it next time I go to store when I said I'l cone down now for the items they said they r now closed and I can get items another day. When I said this is no good as I need to eat and I have paid for this they said were just getting throu day. Very much with no care to what I thought or my experience or offer of my money back for missing items as I had said I don't get take away alot and won't be back for ages. Very unprofessional had to go to KFC to get food to feed family as what I got was not enough deffinalty go somewhere else as they have unoroffesinal service and take for g nated customers they have cone in their attitude indicated they don't care and think customers are coming regardless of their attitude towards them.
