Tonight I had Takeaway Lamb Massaman Curry - Thai Hot. Outstanding!!! Thai @ Lowood is simply a cut above the rest. Do yourself a favour, and get some! Be careful, Thai Hot is not for pretenders, soooo good 😋.

EDIT: Dine in vs Takeaway - OMG what a revelation! Tonight we dined in instead of takeaway, for my wife's 49th Bday. I'm certain we all rolled out extremely pleased with the experience, except for our youngest (14yo) whom is yet to overcome the convenience of fast tasteless food. Asked for Thai HOT Chicken Massaman, PERFECTION! Entrees were awesome, and couldn't finish our mains(huge), so we're having it for brunch. Loved it, and we'll be back. Thank you so much for the succulent flavours! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thai food is always spicey/chilli hot in my experience. Why then, when I order online, and specify the spicey option, I end up with weak Aussie mild food, repeatedly? Aussie's are extremely weak with chilli food, and that goes for all their styles of food. Needless to say, the food here is extremely tasty! Give no option, and make it all spicey hot, the flavour becomes so much more intense. No need for MSG or garlic enhancer, keep it a real natural spicey hot! Thankfully I grow my own organic Thai chilli's to add for a...

Ordered, told 35mins. Went there (after 40 mins), to be told its still another 10mins away. Left, returned 30 MINS LATER. Told, "oooops, your order slip fell in the water, so we haven't made it yet!". Spent nearly $100 on food. Had people waiting at our house. Did we get a big apology, or even a "sorry".....NO!!!! Instead, laughed and said "mistakes happen". Didn’t want to apologise, admit fault, nor comp us anything (we had already paid online) until we said something should be done, it's ridiculous. After, at first arguing, then finally offered ONE free meal next time we go there. NEVER AGAIN, you can stick that meal! It's not the first time either, took over an 1hr last time too. Will be the last time though! Not a local. But I now understand why the pub is always packed with patrons, whereas this place...

I placed an order and was told it would be 45 minutes. On arrival I was told it would be another 15 as there was only one cook. On getting home I found the coconut rice was barely warm. The massaman curry had semi raw potatoes and a few slivers of lamb with the sauce, very watery. No peanuts to be seen. The penang curry was liquid and tasteless apart from 3 Birdseye chillies cut in half . The Pad Thai was overly sickly sweet and inedible. My partner is a retired chef and was appalled that someone would serve that and charge $66 for the experience Will not return . I do not normally do bad reviews or complain but this was so...
