I recently had a delightful dining experience at this charming establishment. The portion sizes were just right and each dish was elegantly presented. The flavors of the food were exceptional, truly a culinary delight that left me wanting more. I particularly enjoyed the collaborative dining experience of sharing multiple dishes with friends. The staff were not only friendly but also went above and beyond to cater to our needs.
From the moment I walked in, I felt transported back to Thailand with the authentic flavors and ambiance of this restaurant. The decor exudes Southeast Asian charm, creating a truly immersive dining atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with the staff displaying a warm and welcoming demeanor throughout the meal.
This hidden gem is a paradise for vegan diners, with a knowledgeable staff that can customize most dishes to suit plant-based preferences. The dishes were served piping hot, bursting with fresh and aromatic flavors that left a lasting impression. I recently tried their takeaway option, which was not only well-priced but also prepared promptly. The Thai Green Curry with coconut rice is a must-try, perfectly capturing the essence of Thai cuisine.
In conclusion, this restaurant has earned a permanent spot on my list of go-to dining spots. I highly recommend trying out their delectable Thai dishes and exceptional service – you won't be...
Read moreThere’s something about Thai restaurants, their decor is either very over-the-top or relatively plain and boring. I’d put Thai Smile House in the second category. At first glance this may dissuade you, but don’t let it.
I’ve been to many Thai restaurants over the years, some with my father-in-law who’s a Chef and knows a few traditional Thai recipes that are often off-menu. This place is better.
Living in Brisbane, you’d expect the best in Thai to be located here somewhere fancy, inner-city and relatively expensive. Thai Smile House is better.
Hands down the best Thai I’ve had in both the food’s immaculate presentation and taste. And the service (I think it’s a husband and wife team for the most part but I could be wrong) is great, too.
I travel to Townsville a few times a year. I have now been here twice, but it’s now on the list for must-have meals when...
Read moreWe are new to the area, enjoy "authentic" Thai food, but in all the restaurants we have tried over the years, this is by far the worst attempt at thai cooking we have ever tasted. We ordered for lunch: Dim Sims, the meat was mashed pork mince with no additions wrapped in mushy noodle (4) NO flavour. Thai chicken wings: small chicken nibbles in bread crumbs, nothing more, tasteless (8) Spring rolls: minimal filling that had no taste, cooked in pastry that's been frozen, too tough to get your teeth through (4). "Special" fried rice: we haven't eaten it yet, bought to have with our dinner tonight. The rice is brown, looking into the container I can see 1 piece of chicken, 1 piece of broccoli and 1 piece of julienne carrot. Are you serious? This rubbish was $43.00.....
