The Revised Cafe — Restaurant in Queensland

This is a well run old fashioned service cafe, hard to find these days. The staff are delightfully friendly and have a committed client group who return regularly, and love it. The cafe is immaculately clean and tidy; the food is timely; and portions are sizeable and terrific value for money compared with most places in town.

Well done, folks! Keep it up.

I am back!

This morning I had the most delicious breakfast that I have had since I lived in Canada: soft eggy French toast, soft buttery scrambled eggs, a mountain of shining bacon with a pouring of delicious Canadian maple syrup. Utterly delicious! Whoever this chef is, s/he is masterful.

It is a delight to eat here.

And the staff are magnificent. Before us there was a long table filled with cyclists, all ordering drinks and breakfasts -- no wonder they stop here! We thought there would be a delay serving, but no! we ate quickly, efficiently, and with joy!

We will be back every Sunday!

During a recent stop for a late lunch in an unfamiliar area, we stumbled upon this restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful experience that unfolded.

Opting for a schnitzel and calamari dish, we also enjoyed a coffee and juice each. The presentation of the food was good, and the servings were beyond generous. The schnitzel was moist and flavourful. The veggies on the side were fresh.The calamari was crispy and the salad was also fresh, and the chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

While the atmosphere could have been cozier, the staff were friendly and service was quick. If we find ourselves in this part of town again, we would love to return...

Today my wife and i tried out this cafe tucked away at wyalla plaza and ordered calamari and a steak burger to take away.

Both gave me heartburn and the steak was not cooked to the way i had asked it to be cooked, the guy that took my order asked me how do i want my steak cooked and i replied, medium well, and i got a well cooked hard steak that i almost choked on and was not very impressed with the order at all.

So today i score a 1 only for the food i tried today but will be very reluctant to eat there again.

The service was satisfactory and the atmosphere was also satisfactory, but however the food really needs to be cooked to the customers request guys and the price compared to what we recieved, i think...
