Wyalla fish bar — Restaurant in Queensland

It's such a shame to see such a nice business sink into the gutter with thier most sold product. You use to get nice big servings of crunchy fluffy chips and when you asked for extra salt that what you got. Too many times now we've treated t give them the benefit of the doubt but besides the chips have changed (not the problem) hey are now so much smaller, a jumbo chips could feed 5 of us now it only just does the 3 kiddies, soggy, no taste if any the tiniest bit of salt, so many times the pineapple fritters, kabana pieces or the potato scallops are wrapped up with the fish making them unedible to those of us that can't eat fish. Guys I wish you the best bust sadly we'll shop...

Everything you want a fish and chip shop to be. The serving sizes are absolutely huge. So I would personally get one size down on your chip order or be prepared to eat a lot of chips. Have usually gotten the battered fish and been extremely happy

They also do a series of other meals. I can recommend the Keiv. The steak was tasty but cooked a little longer then I prefer. Service is always polite. And the store has some other local items in there.

Alas no one is perfect and the cheesecakes were sold frozen solid and inedible. But get your main meal here and you...

I am celiac and the Wyalla was recommended to me by a friend. This is THE BEST place to get GF..their menu is extensive. First time ever I've been able to have battered fish (which was soooo tasty), the potato scallop was as round as the MCG and the GF chips were superb. I wll be going back for the GF burger and they lots of homemade yummies as well. If you're visiting Toowoomba and you don't go there, then you've missed a culinary tgreat. OH....the prices are...
