Tolga Bakery — Restaurant in Queensland

So yummy! They didn't have many choices left by the time We went there around 1pm. So ordered for the first time, their Steak, Guiness & Mushroom Pie. Omg! Yummy! The flavours the pastry everything was yummy and perfect. Ordered a beef & veg pastie for husband, also yummy. Ordered a vanilla slice, perfect texture firm vanilla, flakey yet solid pastry which came with the vanilla upon every bite. Best made vanilla slice I've had so far. Cream bun and passionfruit/vanilla cheesecake very yummy also.

Lovely bakery, will visit again next time...

If it wasn't for a nice piece of grilled fish, they would have well and truly earned one star, not two.

They forgot part of our order. After driving a 20 minute round trip to come back for it, nothing offered as apology. A full serve (about $5) of chips wouldn't be enough for a side for two - barely enough for one. Chips were brown; I'm not sure how often they change their oil. Thoroughly disappointed. This used to be a good stop off for take away in the table lands. Now it's a place I will happily recommend...

Top spot for some of the best baked goods I in the area. Being from Victoria I couldn't go past the snot block (superb) but the range of pies is fantastic. My wife loves the mashed potato pasties and you'd be mad not to try it. The cakes are delightful and of course you have to have a coffee to go with that. Just leave several days to sample the lot fresh with coffee each day and due to the mineral content of the soil the scales...
