Desgusting attitudes from the owners. Never had any prior interactions with them. Was polite and in a good mood even... Gone in to pick up some deliveries that should of been ready and no one would come to the counter, even rung their bell after it started getting abit much.
Still nothing. I say hello into the kitchen... still nothing.
The only noise comming from the kitchen was the sound of microwaves cooking and relaxed chatting so they obviously could hear me.
I'm about to just cancel the customers delivery at this point and the old woman finally come out and had an attitude about me trying to get her attention to get an update... there's no issue if it's going to be awhile as I can get the order re-assigned so my first customer isn't waiting.
I've still not even given her any attitude as I just want my orders and she won't stop talking over me. Is aggressive and tells me ones ready but the next one is more than 10 minutes away.
She instantly changed her story when I just asked for the order that was ready so I could have the other order re-assigned to another driver.
I'd like to think maybe she was stressed or whatever but no it's was completely relaxed up until I just asked for a rough ETA ect.
I assume her husband or what ever was in the back but he obviously is just as useless if he doesn't care to come out when his wifes carrying on like this. He's probally scared of her 😂
I've personally never eaten from here I hate that kinda food...but if they are microwaving your food and behaving like this then it's safe to say they don't care about their food either.
If you're an uber driver ect please report this restaurant as I have to uber support if they carry on like...
Read moreAs someone who lived with Vietnamese refugees and ate authentic Vietnamese from my home town Melbourne I have not had such an authentic experience for over a decade as good as this! I love the jam corner restaurant to take my partner and pay $90pp for the experience but honestly this is 100 times better. The wonderful woman who owns and has served the city of Townsville for 10 years greets you with a smile and passion that is so inspiring considering she has done this for 10 years. I recommend the duck noodle soup.
Taste the broth....the balance of the broth is an art form that can't be learnt without a deep understanding of the ingredients.
The amount of duck that was in the soup was absolutely more than fair for the cheap price you pay and if you finished the complete dish you will be full. I'm going there for brunch today and dinner again tonight.
Love this place!
I also gave the atmosphere 5 stars because even though it's location is next to Cole's just look at the reaction on my partners face from the food and as long as my partner happy I'm in an awesome atmosphere...
Read moreNo doubt best Vietnamese I have had. EVER. It became my favourite spot when I moved here only a year ago. Though after today's experience I will no longer be a paying customer to this restaurant. While my good friend and myself were enjoying our meals we paid for, VIN so openly expressed his opinions towards a pair of lovely non indigenous woman while they were picking up their orders, not realising I had heard and seen what was being said and in which manner it was being said.
So sad to think someone like you VIN could be so ignorant and make assumptions the way you did today. After explaining to him it was offensive he so wildly told me that my regular visits and money I spend there means nothing to other certain people's.
Unfortunately I can and will not support a business owner who can be so blatantly ignorant. FYI...
