[NEW REVIEW ~ OCTOBER 2025] Have since gone back since last review, and have been thoroughly disappointed to find there have been zero changes to any food/service/atmosphere elements. For the price you pay for a sandwich, it is hardly 'convenient' and you are much better off purchasing from a local cafe who's prices now match Subway. Lettuce is off, even after I asked how old it was, I was replied with "it's fresh" (hardly fresh when its more white/brown than green), bread is stale, and portions are below expected level, having to ask the staff to "add some more, please" when they put only a pinch of carrots or only a leaf and a half of spinach - and yet try to maximise the use of lettuce to fill out your sub as much as possible. Additionally, the staff are just as short and rude, making minimal effort to help or make for a friendly service. It is horrible that a franchise has allowed this to continue. I implore you to instead support a local cafe/bakery nearby that would provide the same product at the same price, for a much better service, all the while, supporting local people/businesses.
[OLD REVIEW ~ AUGUST 2025] really disappointed in the new management and owners, since their recent takeover. Whilst the facelift improves this space, all the workers have yet to make their customers feel invited. Read moreI was the only customer there getting dinner for a family of four. When I walked in the staff member greeted me well started taking the order. I needed some advice making a salad. With my questions the staff member gradually became angry and was responding harshly and abruptly. Wrapped up one sandwich hurriedly without asking what source I needed. When I questioned, said nothing can be done now. Even worse for the next sub she put the source I wanted for the previous sub without giving me the chance to pick a source that is more suitable for that sub. Probably this underpaid and over worked staff member need some guidance and support to improve job skills and her overall well-being. Finally I paid $45 and didn't get what I exactly wanted to got. On top of that had to be subjected to the anger. One should not be put through such experience just picking dinner for the family. How can I go back to this subway again? This happened at 6.42pm...
Read moreFemale, Indian staff member on Friday night was very rude and I was embarrassed with the way she spoke to me. I ordered a mozza pot and asked for ranch dressing and was told no it’s a standard recipe, I said I was happy to pay extra and the looks I got From her we’re not nice and she went on to say we can not charge you for it and it’s not standard. I have never had this problem at another subway and certainly won’t be going back to Shepparton North store. Then to add insult when I got home there was barely any marinara sauce, cheese was extremely light on and so was the ranch dressing that she begrudgingly gave me.
