I do not recommend this kfc. After a netball tournament, we bet the traffic to beat the rush. We ordered on the express machine and sat down. we started to notice that our small order was not being prepared although the people coming in were getting their food prior to us. we sat at the kfc for 25 minutes until i went up and said something. i asked the girl kindly if my order was coming and she said it is coming. i then sat back down watching more people’s food was being prepared. she then started to just stand there doing nothing. After calling my name i went up and saw what was in the bag. it was not my order. she said oh this isn’t your order and gave it to another person who had been waiting maybe 5 minutes. after 10 more minutes of waiting (35 minutes of waiting) i went up again and she said it’s being made now will be 5 minutes. is this a joke? she calls my name i get it and she ignores me. I get into the car (45 minutes of waiting) and she had given me the wrong sauces. This was probably the worst experience i have had with fast food and i will not be ever going back and do not recommend this store at all. Read moreLet me start by saying: I don’t expect 5-star service at a fast food place, but what I experienced today at the North End Shepparton KFC was beyond ridiculous.
The manager on shift today should not be in charge of a broom, let alone a store. From the second I walked in, they looked annoyed that customers were even showing up. No greeting, no smile — just a glare like I’d personally ruined their day.
I tried to ask about a missing item in my order, and the manager responded with a snarky “Well, it’s not my problem,” before walking off mid-sentence. Excuse me? Isn’t that literally your job?
Other customers were also visibly frustrated. I saw a mum with her kids waiting over 20 minutes for food, only to be told it was “already given out.” The manager made a snide comment under their breath like it was somehow her fault. Disgusting attitude.
To top it all off, the place was filthy. Tables were greasy, bins were overflowing, and no one seemed to care. Honestly, it felt like the whole store was being run on autopilot — badly.

I purchased a 3-piece chicken meal today from a well-known international franchise in North Shepparton, and I am appalled by the quality of what was served. The chicken pieces were not only very small, but also so dry and tough they were almost inedible—more like chewing on overcooked steak than enjoying fried chicken. It left me wondering if they had been cooked the day before and simply reheated.
To make matters worse, the cost of meals from this franchise keeps climbing, yet the quality has clearly plummeted. Today’s meal was an absolute waste of money and a complete letdown. For a brand that markets itself on quality and consistency, this experience was nothing short of unacceptable. I expect far better, and I won’t be returning unless standards improve dramatically.
