Wynyard St. Kitchen — Restaurant in Singleton

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS IF I COULD. Travelling home from Newcastle to Tamworth we googled 'Best sandwiches in Singleton' and Wynyard St Kitchen popped up. We decided to give them a go, and O.M.G! Straight away we were greeted by friendly staff, a cute, clean little shop and the freshest looking salads and meats in their sandwich bar. The menu is massive, offering something for everyone- it was hard to decide between all the delicious options! We ended up choosing a toasted salami turkish and a toasted chicken foccacia. We watched them make our lunches, and even commented on how generous their toppings are, they really pack in the food and the flavour. They had a cabinet with pre made food as well, yummy looking soups, quiche, noodles.... We paid, left and got back on the road and started eating..... our minds were BLOWN. Seems extreme to say that about a sandwich, but my husband and I agreed they were the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. We called them straight away and told them how amazing they were, they deserved more than this great review. If you are ever driving through, do yourself a favour...

Called in today off the highway between Gosford and Tamworth for lunch. Wow wow wow what a GEM of a find, thankyou google! Leisa and the staff are so friendly. They told us this shop has been in continual business since 1937 and still has the original wooden till and cool room, which is a caravan backed up the the shop and then built around! The food was unbelievably fresh and of excellent quality. No skimping on quality or serving size. We had a fillet steak and salad sandwich and chocolate thick-head that was so cold and thick it reminded me of my childhood. Milk, ice cream and topping!!! The place eas busy but the service was beyond efficient and you could tell the staff were happy to be there. Apparently in November when the Jaccarandas are out the place is pumping. BUT what a street to have a business in..... highly recommend!!! Check...

Great little take away shop with a fantastic menu ,NO fried food , a delicious range of fresh wraps , sandwiches and rolls , monster burgers, great coffee and cold drinks , even a old school lollies counter. Great vegetarian menu as well , outfront seating and plenty of parking right out the front, a park across the road with ample covered seating, open from 7am to 2pm Monday to Friday only ,...
