Zambrero Singleton — Restaurant in Singleton

Hi im writing this review to show my appreciation in what the company is doing and it was the first visit with my partner, so to start it off the customer service was decent unlike Macca's and no napkins, the Zam workers were kind, respectful and well mannered, only thing was a worker gave us the wrong rice after making "2 power burritos" but it got sorted quickly/professionally by Jericho, he offered to make 2 free of charge new fresh burritos in replace and made them instantly without hesitation and we still enjoyed the other ones, thats what i call excellent service and care for customers what a LEGEND! As i expected it was him and he was amazed when I said so your the legend and didn't realise how i knew, because of the good reviews about Jericho 😅 The owner and reviews were no joke and after reading bad reviews in the past which were inconsiderate/hateful, don't know what people are on about but the food was fresh and delicious and we will be continuing to support them when able. Keep up the great work...

I’ve been coming to zambreros for a few years basically since it opened and it’s always been good. But lately I’ve stopped coming as the food has started to make me feel very ill, I love Mexican food, it is my favourite and I’m sad that I have had to stop coming due to making me feel ill. Also noticed that the shop isn’t in the best condition anymore. The roof has been leaking on the customers and on the workers, not much anymore but when ordering my food at the start of the line i can seen into the back area it looks like it is flooding and the workers are walking through the water. Major safety concern.

Late afternoon the sun is blaring through the shop and me as a customer I can’t see the menu board and the workers struggle to see us and the food. Sometimes when I come in it’s fairly warm almost like the aircon isn’t working? Something needs to be done about this. Workers are always lovely and overall...

We have ordered here multiple times since the Singleton store has opened and we have always been served by lack lustre and unenthusiastic staff members. At first I put the errors in executing the orders down to the store being new and still training staff, however months on it has not improved. Most recently, I had to continue to prompt the staff member at each step to have my order completed correctly.

We haven't had any issues with the quality of the food, when it's done properly, only the staff. Hopefully this can improve with more training as we do enjoy Zambrero and love that big company's are...
