The worst customer service ever. Although the delivery staff was nice and polite.
I’ve just ordered a slow cooked lamb pasta and the photo shows what I’ve received. Meatlover’s pasta with full of sausages and hams.
When I called them to complain about it, the female staff answered and said “Oh we ran out of ingredients for the slow cooked lamb pasta, and we are extremely busy now, so we just delivered the best option you can get.”
No. This is not right. That does not make sense at all. I have the right to be informed of the situation. They should have informed me, and I should have been the one who decide what the best option was for myself.
I was absolutely shocked by the attitude of the staff. There was NOT a hint of an apology from the staff. When I complained, asking if they should have informed me in advance, they responded by saying, "If we had told you, the delivery would have been delayed, and then you would have kept calling us, asking why it's late.”, “Slow cooked lamb pasta or meat lover's pasta, they’re basically the same."
Their tone made it clear that they thought they had done nothing wrong. It almost felt like they were saying, "We're busy, so just eat what we gave you and don't bother us." I was so taken aback by their audacity that I was at a loss for words. It almost felt like I was being treated the same way I was in army training during my military service - just take the food, shut your mouth, eat it, and move along.
When I told them, "I didn’t want a pasta loaded with sausages and hams. If you had informed me, I would have requested a refund," they coldly replied, "Then I'll refund you." and then hung up. NOT ONCE did I hear the words "sorry" or "apologies." From start to finish, their attitude was utterly unapologetic and brazen.
I have never encountered such poor customer service in my life, anywhere...
Read moreWhat an experience. Travelled all the way from Hahndorf to Domino’s Victor Harbor thinking we’d treat ourselves to something decent after a big day. Should’ve just stayed home and eaten the cardboard box instead would’ve been fresher and probably had more flavour.
We get there, order a basic pizza nothing complicated and the bloke behind the counter clearly had no idea what was going on. I asked the price and instead of, you know, checking the system like a normal person, he just guessed. Like he spun a mental roulette wheel and blurted out a number.
Where was this guy when they were handing out brains?
And after all that, when we finally got the pizza… it was a disgrace. Rock hard crust, barely any topping, and a smell that could knock out a grown man. Honestly, I’ve had better pizzas fall out of vending machines. It was so bad it became a chew toy for the dog when we got home and even he looked disappointed.
Safe to say next time, I’ll save the drive and just stick to a frozen one from the servo. Would taste better, smell better, and not require dealing with whatever that experience was supposed to be Take a long look at yourself dominos and I suggest...
Read moreI will preface this by saying we haven't bought Domino's in a number of years.
Back then, the pizzas were a flavour burst of 12 inches with lots of toppings with friendly staff, it was a bit pricey but as a treat it was worth it.
Had spare change so decided to treat ourselves to Domino's tonight, what a bloody mistake that was. Service was mediocre at best, the pizzas were bland and oily, the pizzas felt like it had the bare minimum of toppings on them, the garlic bread was worse than the home brand frozen ones you can get from Woolies. But the worst thing was the size of the pizzas themselves, not only has Domino's prices gone up but the pizza sizes has shrunk, 10 inches for a "large" pizza is just ridiculous. Definitely wont be going back to waste my money at this place, if I got given a voucher for a free pizza at Domino's, I'd burn the voucher while reciting bible verses. Go to your local pizza shop instead, can highly recommend Saltwater Cafe in Goolwa and we got more pizza from one 18 inch pizza from them than 3 "large" pizzas from Domino's, plus they're much tastier as well.
