Chris 'N Di's — Restaurant in Stawell

I understand it is a public holiday so it makes it busier, but there was no line at all, so everyone was just cutting infront of each other, I ordered a coffee, and fair enough if I’d asked for it extra hot but I didn’t, it was so hot I couldn’t begin to drink it, so after asking for some milk to be put in it was the complete opposite and too cold, I got nothing other then the coffee taken straight from my hand and “try it now”, I feel an apology for the stuff around would have been polite, there were no prices listed anywhere for any of the drinks which seems as though the reasoning behind it being they’re so expensive, there were atleast 5 staff on with only two of them (the younger girls) constantly doing there job, many of the older ladies were off to the side talking watching on as everyone else did twice as much work, overall...

Inside was a little on the dark side re: lighting. But the lady behind the counter was pleasant. We got mince, cheese & bacon pies. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't too badly priced. The long John donut was nice, the cream I think has vanilla in it, which was a nice surprise of flavour. There was a good selection of pies & desserts. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff were so lovely. There was a great variety of food from pies, fresh sandwiches and bacon and egg rolls through to cakes, slices, biscuits, ice creams and cold drink. It's was also really nice to be able to sit in and enjoy breakfast. Recommend highly for an excellent old school bakery experience. All the flavour...
