My friends and I were driving through the Barossa from Adelaide and decided to stop at Peter Lehmann. SO HAPPY WE DID! We had such a good time and it was an incredible way to pass the hour. The moment we walked in the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The brick wall decor gave the space a great ambiance. The list of wines to taste is extensive and the taste pours are quite generous but not too much - they were perfect. A number of cellar door hosts helped us and we all had great conversations with all of them! They were so friendly and knowledgeable about all of the product listed - specifically the girl from Melbourne! The Tempranillo and the Grenache were out of this world - two varietals I typically wouldn't think to try let alone purchase. The Shiraz offered were all different from the other - some big and bold as you'd expect in the Barossa, some drinkable on their own. Outside after the tasting we were able to enjoy some cheese we purchased in the area out on the picnic tables and were greeted by a friendly dog who hung out with us the rest of our stay. We wound up leaving with a few great bottles of wine and big smiles thanks to your great staff and delicious wines. It was our favourite winery in the Barossa that arvo. Thanks so much for the...
Read moreSaw Take That tonight at this winery and the concert itself was brilliant, staff at the venue were amazing and so kind and helpful. Especially as we had disabled members in our party and were granted access to a section that worked well for us on the green (thank you to a lovely couple of security members, you know who you are). Unfortunately, the accessibility for disability such as wheelchair users was absolutely terrible. Upon entry the only access was up a steep grassy hill and then another gravel one- staff could not help or direct here as they were not even given instructions on accessibility which is not their fault but the venue's/event planners'. A few of us in the party have invisible illness so we also struggled having to lug all of our stuff plus our family member in their wheelchair up to the venue in 35 degree heat. This is extremely disappointing and there needs to be more direction, communication and change for this in the future.
Also, if warm water is the best you can give your security staff at these events, that's also extremely disappointing and needs to be looked into. We were handing them out cold water and canned drinks because they either had to buy it themselves or were given warm water on a...

Very disappointed. The change in area for the event was not family friendly at all in comparison to previous visits.
The walk from the car park was over 1km up hill, fine for most adults but This is supposed to be a family friendly event.....terrible walk for some, especially kids!!!
The older area we used to use was far more open with large trees for beautiful shade. Gates opening at 4pm and 30degrees and no shade at all .....
This year the toilets were appallingly dirty! The urinals were overflowing and despite the toilets being at the bottom of the venue you could smell them at the entrance!
There were mixed communications about what you could bring into the venue, ticketek advised NO deck chairs, yet the website said ok?
1 bottle of wine was $52!!!!!!! Keeping in mind the event was at the winery they still charged this much, a can of alcoholic ginger beer was $14.50.
Accommodation, 5 full priced tickets....cost us over $1200.00. While the artists were fab, we will not...
