Now I’m some one who loves to travel for food. Drove 2 hours today to try this place and i will never do it again. Restaurant in neat and tidy. But once i had made my selections i stood at the counter for a good 5 mins and the lady just ignored me behind the counter. Finally someone from the kitchen come to get my order. So not a great first impression. Ordered satay chicken and steamed wontons. They brought me satay chicken, the chicken was soft and moist but the sauce was very thick and dripping in oil 🤢. I scraped the sauce off and was able to enjoy the chicken but my wontons arrived deep fried and not steamed. So crunchy I chipped a tooth 😢. Now for mains I ordered pork ribs and Mongolian beef. The pork ribs were delicious and moist falling off the bone good with a delightful sauce on them. Sadly the beef was horrible, chewy and rubbery texture. So bad my chickens were not interested in it when I got home and they eat nearly anything. In the end my experience was 50/50 so not worth the distance or the money. Atmosphere 8/10 Customer Service 2/10 Food quality and appearance 6/10 Cleanliness 9/10

We ordered egg fu young and pepper szechuan beef. Egg fu young was just plain omelette with onion and sweet soy sauce, there is no meat, seafood, or veggies in it at all. Definitely not worth for their price (more than 20 dollars). Several pieces of meats in the pepper Szechuan beef dish were undercooked!!! It is not acceptable to serve raw meats, fingers crossed that we are not going to get food poisoning.

Lisa, Liane and myself (Kristeen ) were staying at The Wine Vine Hotel February 1st - 3rd 2024 so we decided to stay at The Wine Vine and have dinner at the Asian Tucker for Chinese. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, the ladies that were on duty that night were Lisa and Shandi and we found them to be very friendly, efficient and good operators within their chosen profession

Unfortunately a not so good review. I’ve now wasted good money on several dishes that were just terrible and inedible. Sweet and sour pork that was chewy with soggy batter due to the fact the sauce was poured all over it and not put in a separate container for takeaway. Mongolian beef also chewy dry meat with very watery flavourless sauce. Special fried rice where the rice was undercooked in the centre and very unpleasant to eat. Chicken laksa was mainly full of bean shoots and not much else no chilli or coriander extremely basic. Very disappointing considering your prices, We won’t be back, have given you a good go but the quality is just not there. We’ve had more disappointments than wins. Would rather travel to Gawler to get much nicer food for half the price or cook it myself. I’d rather give no stars but unfortunately have to...

Generally we enjoyed what we had tonight, satays were nice and peanut sauce and pickled veg also nice although I had one big chewy piece on one of mine. My husband enjoyed the red curry but thought the beef was a bit chewy. My teriyaki hokkien noodles were nice and tasty. The biggest disappointment was the egg fu young. Worst one I have ever had, it was very dry and burnt in places which was bitter and definitely not worth $20 more around $5. All the ones I have had from other stores are silky in texture with a beautiful sauce over the top. All in all it was nice but wouldn’t mind a refund on the inedible egg fu young which went...
