Not Being Here Before, but know of their other Shops at Steve Irwin Way And Woodfood.. So Decided Too call in for Coffee And Cake enroute Home... Showcase Looked Lovely Upon inspection with a Nice Array of Goodies too Choose from, with Pleasant Happy Girls Running about and Great Customer Service even Through Restrictions due to Covid, So All Credit Too Them...So Very Clean And Very Tidy... Prices are Very Reasonable, and It's A Popular Place too hang out and Enjoy your Sunday Paper, or Enjoy Brunch, Lunch or Something Tasty too Take Home for Later.. Coffee Was Beautiful, So I'll Straight Up Recommend Their Cappuccinos., "Winner"!!!...Hubs "Lemon Tart" was Ok as Was my Choice for the "Carrot Cake" I Think it was a Little Rather Different Style from my Own, as I Wasn't Sure if it was Gluten or Dairy Free, So it wasn't Overly Sweet, and looked like their was the Addition of Grated Zucchini in it, Which Was Pleasant enough, But it Did have A Great Frosting...So Will Try Something Different Next Time, Decisions Decisions.... Whether You Choose too Sit inside, or Watch the Passing Parade Outside on the Sidewalk Tabes...It's A Nice Place Too Call in and Spoil You And Your Friends as the Lovely Group of Elderly Ladies were Thoroughly Enjoying their Usual Meet n Greet Over A Decadent Danish..Well Earned 4🌟s Girls, Will Be Back for One of those Gorgeous Pies we Spied...Well...

If you buy food from here you are risking your health. This place requires random on the spot inspections/food safety audits. I have seen this place going down faster than you can change your undies, but you might have to learn how to do that too if you end up with food poisoning.

You have been warned!!

I even sent an email to CJ’s head office re food/cake concerns & also commented on their lack lustre, zero interested in their job staff who actually have no idea about infection control/food handling/safety standards & provide zero customer service and you guessed it…..NO REPLY! Not that I expected anything from a business with such poor operational standards.

All their food is delivered to their outlets from their Gold Coast centre….not that this is an issue if they addressed their poor standards & zero quality control. Just be prepared to be disappointed & if you are one of the few who got lucky with your purchase & experienced none of the above then you just won lotto. Remember though…next time might be an entirely different situation. I took the time to write this review out of concern & in the interest of public safety. The community deserves so much better & if we continue to settle for low standards then that is what we will continue to receive. I honestly hope this helps anyone who has taken the time...

I have had better experiences in the past but this particular visit the customer service was very much lacking. I was standing near the counter waiting to be acknowledged but ended up having to ask if anyone was actually serving.

The young red headed girl was just standing around like a deer caught in the headlights. No smile or greeting. Definitely more training is needed to work on her customer service skills.

Asked for a quiche and told none where available, so had to point out there were in fact some in the cabinet. Wasn't offered to have it heated up so just took it as is. That was a mistake as doesn't taste very good cold. Pastry almost tasted stale. Warming it up probably brings some life back into it. The only redeeming factor for my order was the chocolate frappe, that was made by another staff member. Possibly the supervisor/manager who was...
