Went to this bakery a few weeks back and asked if they have had any cheese and bacon pies left, lady advised they didn’t have any so I got my partner a steak and pepper pie (which was way too spicy he couldn’t eat it) then I went to order myself a pie and to which she turned around and said she had a cheese and bacon pie with potato on top and she couldn’t sell it because of how it looked so she said I could have it for free! I also got two drinks and I was charged for a pie I didn’t even ask for which was meant to be free! Pie wasn’t very nice and I felt as if I was obligated to have a pie I...

This is a great little cafe where they know how to make a well constructed pie (that doesn't disintegrate while you're eating it) that also tastes good and they have a good range of sweet pastries and cakes for dessert. In fact, there are some interesting pie types not available at the average bakery. There is also a good range of drinks to quench your thirst. The "icing on the cake" was to be greeted by someone who actually sounded like she was happy to serve us, despite our arrival after the lunch rush was over. Highly...

Interesting bakery just off busy road . Reasonable selection of cakes but was disappointed all but no pricing in cabinet except for a very hard to read $4.50 muffins written on bottom of window & a very small $4.20 next to a gluten free caramel slice on the top row . When I asked the staff how much every thing else was , she said she could tell me from the list she had behind the counter ???? Is this really how to run a business ??? The same for the pie window??? Any ones guess what the...

Stopped for a quick bite today. Husband had the cheese & bacon pie which he said was very nice. I had the Devonshire coffee - the scone was light, the jam was very good and the cream was fresh. The coffee was up to standard too. The ladies were very friendly and their sunny disposition made up for the gloomy weather. Definitely pop by if you are in the area.
