4 staff members stand out amongst the other also great staff members. Renee Maria and Gemma & Maria .. beautiful ladies who always remember me and greet me with a smile . Renee has never forgotten how I like my coffee or my name from day one . Maria and Gemma always serve the meals with a beautiful smile & always ask how I am . Maria behind the counter greets me with a infectious smile. I always go in when I know these ladies are working . Also the staff make the best coffee in the Sunshine Plaza . I always come to this cafe because of the coffee and awesome staff ! When I walk in I’m greeted with beautiful smiles from all the staff . I’ve been coming here for a very long time , and the service Just gets better . The staff know what coffee I like , and always ask after me . And I might add they miss me if I miss a couple of weeks ! Now that’s caring service for you ! I suffer with Ménière’s disease , which can make me have moments of anxiety , which in turn can cause me to lose balance and have a vertigo attack . So going to this cafe where I feel completely comfortable , eases any tension that may cause me to have an attack.. 10 out of 5 for this cafe ! I had not been into LeEspresso for a few month due to personal reasons, but went in there again on the 17/5/2024. And to be greeted with a beautiful smile and we missed you comment from Gemma , melted my heart! All the more reason why this is my favourite place in Sunshine Plaza .

I would like to add an additional review. About a particular staff member called Renee. Renee is most definitely a very important asset to this business. Ive never come across a person who stands out in every way like Renee , Service , attitude, attention to detail , hard working young lady . Who always greets everyone with a beautiful welcoming smile . Renee obviously has strong leadership skills , and works with so much zest and compassion for customers and other staff members. I go to L’Espresso for the excellent coffee , and to be Greeted by Renee, who always greets me with a highly professional , yet warm and friendly attitude.

I’ve seen Renee helping elderly customers who may be struggling whilst ordering, step outside the box to help them with her caring and patient personality.

I have been coming to the Myer Cafe for many years. I have consistently found the service and food excellent. Unfortunately, I've recently had to change my diet due to health issues and can no longer have gluten. Ive been ordering the paleo frittata over the past six months . Unfortunately it tastes terrible. It's bland, overly minty and lacks seasoning. I've tried similar paelo options at other cafes which have tasted much better. Perhaps could the Myer Cafe please consider improving the recipe and adding more plaeo / gluten free options to their menu. I've been coming to Myer L'Espresso Coffee House for 5 years and always loved it. The last visit was this Easter 2024. I ordered my usual lemon iced tea. It's usually house made looks like tea and tastes delicious. This was not nice. It was bright yellow, tasted awful and I'm assuming not house made. I actually couldn't drink it. I also noticed a big change in staff members. I'm assuming it's been sold as it's an independent cafe to Myer. If someone could clarify if it's been sold? I'm guessing it's not locally leased/owned or operated anymore...
