I visited this place a couple of weeks ago for breakfast while doing the tourist drive. The place has a beautiful deco. It was quiet and peaceful and they had a few toys and games which my toddler enjoyed playing with. The food was great with plenty of vegetarian options apart from a great choice of meat and fish. My wife had the vegan delight and I had the egg and toast for bacon which is a steal for $11. The prices were quite reasonable and the portions were just about perfect. The staff were very courteous and friendly as well. There are also some very pretty tea sets on display. The place itself is quite big with both indoor and balcony seating and would be a great place to organize functions. Again my Toddler loved walking around the place and exploring the decorations. You might want to check accessibility as I do not recollect seeing wheelchair access. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are around Maleny and are looking to have a meal away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Giving 5 stars for ambience, presentation, food, service and value for money. We will definitely visit here everytime we are in the area

Eight of us went here for a late lunch on Sunday and had a lovely time. The friendly staff had us seated near the open fireplace which was very comfortable. Ordering food took a little while because of some dietary requirements and a new electronic system being used by the waitress. The menu has a nice wide selection and lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. The quality food was definitely the highlight of our visit and all of us enjoyed our meals and were very happy with the portion sizes. We were also happily surprised by the bill at the end and how we were able to pay separately. Will definitely visit again when we are next in the area!

COELIACS TAKE NOTE! The Orangery Maleny is gluten free heaven for sweet and savoury breakfasts and lunches, take away picnic boxes and views to die for. The owner and chef is a fellow coeliac and knows her stuff. We had Banana Bread French Toast with caramelised bananas, a stack of floofy pancakes dripping in real maple syrup, berries and cream and a take away box of petit fours. Locally sourced produce throughout the completely gluten free menu. Professional and friendly service. They also have normal bread for the 'normals'. And to top it all off, fur baby/dog friendly on the gorgeous wrap around verandah.

Visited The Orangery today for the first time.

After browsing the decent array of lunch options (including plenty of burgers, toasted sandwiches and several vegetarian/vegan/salad choices), my wife and I both selected the Orangery Salad, an impressive concoction of pear, apple, lettuce, bacon, feta, pecans, cranberries and optional chicken breast. The serving sizes were decent and both of us enjoyed the flavours and were comfortably full afterwards.

For drinks, tea is definitely their forte and you can select from an impressive 26 different choices. I opted for a green/olive leaf/peppermint blend that was very nice. My wife ordered a cucumber/kale/coconut milk healthy smoothie that she also enjoyed.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive and did not have us waiting at any stage. If anything, I might suggest that sweeping the floors is not ideal while diners are still in-house. Not a big issue for us but not great practice in the industry, especially when still over an hour from closing.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience in a welcoming environment (with beautiful views), complemented by good service and...

Extremely rude service. We only order drinks and got some really rude looks and attitude. When we pay she short changed us and insisted she gave us the full amount. Absolutely shocking service, will Never return. Totally ruin our nice day trip.

*The owner responded and totally twisted the story around. In fact I greeted you and asked if we could have a menu to look at, you were behind the bar doing stuff when we walked in if this refresh your memory...

This is so shameful for a business, not only to twist the fact but to respond in such a disgusting manner so to “look good” to the public.

Also I suggest You check your CCTV in regarding the change, I’m expecting an apology for that appalling attitude of yours and the fact that not only have you short changed us but also insulted my personality over your mistake. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted.

I’ll make sure to share this experience with all my friends on social media so they don’t have to experience such nasty...
