Authentic Japanese food made with heart over here! Found this spot while travelling through Sunshine Coast. Tried many Japanese restaurants in Queensland but so far this is the best for hot food/bentos as I can’t take raw fish atm. Loved the Pan seared Salmon Bento. Lady kindly acceded to my request to fry the salmon with less oil. Salmon is fresh and lotus root half egg side was a delight. Side salad was fresh as well without being overly doused in dressing. Only gripe is that the rice was shaped too compact and caused it to be a little dense. Also may need a sauce to pair with the rice? Miso soup: Had wakame and daikon etc, so it’s good! The highlight was the Chicken Katsu. Prepared fresh and sauce had potatoes, onions, carrots and some enoki mushroom. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options. Thank you for the lovely meal and hope to be back next time 😊

Still the best little Japanese cafe in the coast. Their chips are underrated, and I can say one of the best I had, paired with their house made aioli. Always a good started. Wife had their salmon katsu curry, which is comfort food on it's own. Add some sichimi for some heat. I always opt for their fresh menu like sashimi and poke bowls. I had the poke bowl this time and I loved it. Fresh, zesty, and flavourful. If you want Japanese comfort food, visit Zeecaf. Don't forget to try their drinks as well. I had the matcha latte made with authentic matcha from Japan. Wife ordered oolong lychee bubble tea which she finished even before the mains were served. It's just that good.

This was the most delicious Japanese food I’ve ever had. And I have been to Japan and this is so authentic and scrumptious. I had the mixed poke bowl and that made me so happy. My partner had the mixed bento box and I was pretty jealous of that meal too. I want to go back and try everything on the menu. And I would never pick karaage chicken but that was soooo yummy! So soft and tender, it was light and not oily at all. This place is so underrated, I would highly recommend the visit! You should support this local business. Outside area is great and also had indoor dining! Plenty of free on street parking. Overall great lunch experience!
