Anar Charcoal Chicken Croydon Park — Restaurant in Sydney

It was a Monday, the 29th of September to be exact - "ANAR... ANAR" Georgio exclaimed to his group of close mates, later to be named the "BORTIL ANAR" crew. They all shed tears, as they walked into the packed out restaurant and ordered their Nevana burger meals with extra chilli and falafel plates on Fridays of Lent. The men loved ANAR - we would crave it, talk about it, desire the tender chicken and crispy chips salted to perfection by the sweaty, bald manager Charlie (the sweat only representative of his hard work and passion for charcoal chicken). The first bites would be heaven, and the last, satisfying, as if kissing the woman of your dreams. We are currently talking about ANAR right now, sharing photos of our previous experiences and planning future visits - we only have words of praise for such an amazing restaurant. We love you ANAR... and we thank you for binding a group of schoolboy friends into brothers

Huge disappointment. Woolies does a better job. I ordered a 1/2 chicken to get what I thought was 1/4 it was so small, I went back into double check and the woman was so rude, she said what’s wrong with it it’s big, did you want a duck? After that I didn’t want anything to do with the place so I asked for my money back which I was told, no, you took it out of the store so we can’t sell it so you’re not getting your money back....I replied by asking if I could then purchase another 1/2 chicken and not pay double, she said no, you should’ve asked for a whole chicken to start with. Finally after asking not to be spoken to like an idiot, she got another half of chicken and then expected me to pay the 50c surcharge for using card......Not only was I spoken to like I didn’t know what a chicken was. When I finally got it back home it was dried out, lacking in flavour and smaller than the last. I will never go back here, or recommend to anyone else....

I had been eating here for many years Hadn’t had good experience every time though. This time they went a bit more than usual. I ordered 2 whole chicken/ bread/ large salad/ large chips to feed family. While getting the order, the lady didn’t mention they had family meal deal, which is just what I ordered plus 1.25l drink. I found it out while waiting for the food. Yeah it’s my bad I should have studied their menu better but hey, maybe this is the time for the good customer service shines. Make a customer smile and making another loyal customer. Also, they lost my order ticket and sent out all the customers came after me, I was like, yeah they got burgers and small orders da da da.. but when they had cut two chicken and called different number I was like what the heck..? They lost my order and skipped it. Now, they lost a customer and many other I could...
