A small fish and chips shop with a lovely lady serving and cooking. Shop is clean with a few seats inside and outside . We got battered fish and chips, calamari, potato scallops and the monster burger. Everything was absolutely delicious. Burger was made with care, all the ingredients were fresh and not stingy at all. Fish was cooked perfectly, had too many battered fish lately that's been mush and soggy batter but this is the best I've had in a while. Calamari was amazing and they actually removed the cartilage so there's no annoying stringy bits. Potato scallops were soft inside and super crispy outside. Even their chips were great. Very impressed considering how quiet the shop is. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area to try their grilled fish.

NICE! 5⭐ Fish & chips (w chicken salt) ($13) made to order. Very fresh 😋😋. The batter is light yet crispy. Not a food critic and not sure if the batter should stick to the fish fillet or not, or compare to 3-M’lin star restaurants' fish and chips. As far as this fish & chips is very enjoyable, that matters. And very good value. Bought as takeaway. Remembered to take some napkins but forgot to get cutlery set 😅 (would that be too much to ask if staff routinely put at least 1 cutlery set and a few napkins inside the paper bag?). The shop is clean, sparkling clean. 👍 No smelly oily smell, no sticky/slippery floor, no greasy chair & table. Very comfortable to sit and wait for the food. 👍 Easier if park on side streets than in front of the shop.

Needed some lunchtime sustenance after a scorching hot day, this little fish & chips shop was along the way. Boy, am I glad I walked into it! I ordered the family pack and it indeed would feed a family of at least four. I didn’t have to wait long (probably 15 minutes) and everything was cooked perfectly, the fried battered fish just melted into my mouth. I don’t live locally and now will go out of my way to go here because it’s that good. Try not judge the shop front, it’s charming as well as nostalgic and does not affect the quality of food. Excuse the photo, it was that good I took a photo after. Thank you Andy’s, see you next time!

Andy’s Seafood is always Fresh and great value for money. The foods come’s in a good size portion and freshly made. The staff are friendly and it is worth the wait during the busy periods. I do recommend the Grilled Fish and chips, I also get calamari’s and octopus which is delicious. They do have salads options as well, must try the console salad, they make it fresh which is rare to find these days. I do prefer to take away as the seating area is occupied when it’s busy. Parking is available along street parking. I highly recommend Andy’s Seafood.

*****the menu is updated for the price*****check my added photos***** this place really comes down to 3 things, price, portion and taste. price??greatt.....portion?? even better....taste??? yeah. its okayish. great for the price and portion tho. but if you are expecting something amazing, better keep your expectation a little low. i had a chicken schnitzel burger and wedges and it wasnt the best i had but was okay for the price. portion was exceptional. price was really good. overall 6.5/10

Is this Sydney’s best fish & chip shop? No. It’s average & there is room for much improvement. Which could start with a shop declutter & clean, especially the floor under the counter display. Batter was crisp but let down by an aftertaste, I suspect old or unclean oil. I added several potato scallops to my order as some reviewers praised these, but like the battered fish the oily aftertaste spoilt the experience.
