Just don't like pies with gelatine / thickner and over salted. Bland boring flavour and sad pastry! I had a beef bacon & cheese, unfortunately for trying a second time was not a great decision as it was just as disappointing as the first time. The pastry & filling is very average yes it has chunky beef and lots of jelly filling not happy Jan.think it cost $8.5 for this price 😑. i remember some time ago the pies were very good there. definitely just going stick to herbit & Adams frozen 2 pack for $5.5at aldi amazingly better. Nice cosy cafe. I was distracted by the pretzels and croissants in the front but remembered my mission was pies.

I chose butter chicken pie and jalapeno pie. Both pies are generous with the fillings and the pastry held the filling well without breaking.

Butter chicken pie: this is nice. More on the herby spice side. Please note that the filling has some smashed pumpkin. It's good but not the typical creamy indian butter chicken as expected.

Jalapeno pie: chunky beef cooked in jalapeno. You can taste the jalapeno flavours coming through. It has a bit of a kick at the end.
