Betie's Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Well..... I think that the food is way over priced, $14.50 for a bacon and avocado cheese melt which I consider to be entrée size. I don't think it is a kids friendly place either as I asked for a children's menu and was told either hot chips or nuggets not much selection. When I went to ask for the bill the woman who served me tallied it all up on the register and was quite happy to take my card and tap the payment through without even telling me the total cost. The food and service swept me off my feet and back to my early childhood days. I felt like I was visiting my friend's home and their mum welcomed me with open arms and gave me a hearty, wholesome, homely feed that leaves you glowing and relaxed after. My partner ordered the shepherd's pie and Omg... The sauce gave me the feeling of being tucked into my childhood bed. It was so comforting! The croquettes were amazing and flavourful! Celiacs fruendly. GF cakes are wrapped so no cross contamination. Several GF options per meal.

WOW! The personal service is outstanding. Bacon & egg toasted sandwich, which bread? how'd you like your egg? Which sauce? Never has any cafe asked those questions. I recommend it with turkish bread.
