Outrageous prices for drinks of low quality. The bottle shop has very slim pickings in the wine department, very expensive and no variety of brands to choose from in different price ranges. Most of the bar staff not particularly friendly and not attentive to customers, always have to wait or call out for service even when there's 3 of them standing around doing nothing. They could all use a course in customer service, extremely poor of the lowest standard I've ever encountered anywhere in my life! I hate to leave such a negative review of this place but I hope it will urge the licensee to make the necessary changes needed to make it the place it COULD BE!!! Mediocre isn't good enough. The saving grace is the bistro which at least has pretty good food and prices though I 'm disappointed that you can no longer take away the specials and have to eat it in, we used to get them a few nights a week because we have a disabled person at home who can't go there to eat. Since they changed this, we haven't been there to eat or ordered anything to take away at full price. Big win for maccas, kfc, dominos, etc! I had a food business for 8 years, taken it from bust to boom in 12 months, I DO know a thing or two about running a business so I'm not criticizing for the sake of it, I just hate to see wasted...

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening, was told it would be a 40 minute for food when ordering- absolutely no issue, we expect this during a peak day. 55 minutes later we got our entrees. We went in a group of 4 families, all ordering within a 10 minute window of each other. The family that ordered last got fed first. No issue, I’m sure ours is coming…. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our food, I sent my partner to ask where our food was as my son was in tears he was so hungry. It had been ready there all along and we weren’t buzzed for it. Brushed it aside because we were so hungry we just wanted to eat. My meal was made completely wrong, it had to be sent back to be redone again. My son’s burger was made wrong despite staff insisting the one requested amendment was made. 20 minutes later I still hadn’t received my correct meal. By now the group we were eating with had all finished their meal 30+ minutes prior. We go back again to the counter to ask where the meal was to be told they didn’t know what the meal was, and then found it sitting on a bench finally. I attempt to enjoy my meal I’d waited so long for to be cooked and it was stone cold.

Second time I’ve dined at The Bligh Park Hotel. First time was lunch on a weekday with my family. Everyone loved their meals. I booked a table for 6pm for 4 people. Arrived just before 6pm and the place was very busy. Nobody to greet & meet guests, especially for those who booked. We walked around the bistro looking for our table. My son asked a staff member . They confirmed our booking but no table had been reserved. Look, it was fine we got a table . The lovely young lady working in the bar was very helpful and friendly. In fact all the staff we spoke to were lovely and friendly

Food was great. We got mini prawn rolls, calamari and the truffle chips for starters. 10/10 ! Mains we had the Southern fried steak, burrito bowl, wagu burger and fish & chips. Everyone loved their meals. The Tommy’s margarita was the best! My daughter had the Pornstar she said she couldn’t really taste the pineapple, I had a sip and could definitely taste the pineapple. Must be something wrong with her tastebuds The venue is amazing for the whole family. Definitely a lot of thought went into the layout of the venue. I love that the bar is in the middle.
