Bobby’s Bakehouse, Dural – Donuts, Vintage Vibes & Dreamy Views 🍩🚐🐶
Okay, how have I not been out here more often?! Bobby’s Bakehouse in Dural is one of those hidden gems that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special. It’s got that magic mix of good food, cool design, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to hang out all day.
🚐 First thing you’ll notice? The vintage donut van, the retro car, and a big ol’ bus parked like it’s part of a movie set. It’s quirky, playful, and absolutely made for Instagram – but somehow still feels relaxed and real.
🐶 It’s super dog-friendly too (huge win in my books), so bring your four-legged bestie along for the ride. We saw pups everywhere, lounging under picnic tables while their humans sipped coffee and tucked into sweet treats.
🍩 Now let’s talk donuts – because wow. Fluffy, fresh, and full of flavour. Every one we tried was delish, but the blue donuts have my heart. They’re almost too pretty to eat… almost. Whether you’re into classic glazes or filled surprises, there’s something for every sweet tooth.
💍 Honestly? With the open space, rustic charm, and fun setup, this would make the perfect wedding venue. Think barefoot dancing under the stars, food trucks, espresso martinis, and golden hour photos with vintage cars as your backdrop. Obsessed.
📍 It’s tucked a little out of the way, but 100% worth the drive. I just wish I made the trip out here more often – it’s the kind of place you could visit with friends, family, or just solo with a book and a coffee. Chill, welcoming, and full of character.
Bobby’s, you’ve nailed it. See you (and my donut cravings)...

Read moreI am a local and regularly frequent this establishment. We always by their hot, fresh doughnuts. Since Gilbert has left, I have found the food ordinary and the service pitiful. My husband and I decided to give it one more try and were beyond disappointed today. The hot, fresh doughnuts we ordered were not. When I asked for hot, fresh doughnuts instead of the ones we were given, I was told that they had been baked today and they had stopped baking for the day. We reluctantly accepted the ones we were given and sat down to eat. I noticed a young man still cooking and boxing up dozens of hot, fresh doughnuts and approached him to ask if he had finished baking for the day. He had not. At this point I was more disappointed that I had been misled by the older woman behind the counter so I politely let her know what I had been told. She rolled her eyes at me and told me that on this occasion she would offer me the hot ones. I let her know that I wasn’t satisfied by the manner in which I had been misled and she said that she was offering them to me for free, that I should feel grateful and questioned, “So, do you want them or not?” Apparently this business is ‘trialling new procedures’ which I feel are certainly not working to...
