Came in this morning for coffee and thoroughly enjoyed my nutella latte. After perusing the menu and finding ourselves intrigued, we decided to come back later for brunch. I found my eggs benedict delicious, the eggs perfectly runny and the hollandaise sauce had the right amount of accidity with the brightness of fresh herbs. When it came time for my cup of tea however I was rather underwhelmed. My first 2 menu selections where unfortunately not in stock so I decided to go with my old faithful, the English Breakfast. It was served in a functional glass teapot, which suited the decor of the cafe, however despite having a strainer as part of the design, they chose to stick a tea bag in it instead. The ambient noise of the cafe is somewhat loud due to the open kitchen but fits with the overall atmosphere. Would come back again for the food and coffee but will definitely be having my tea elsewhere.

This cafe cannot be missed when one visits Eastwood in Sydney. The staff is courteous and always answers queries with a smile. The wait time to place an order and take a coffee is less than 10 minutes, which is a relief. An array of sweet delights are there to enjoy with the coffee and satiate your sweet tooth. Their banana bread, chocolate brownie, cinnamon scroll, berry muffin, muesli muffin and fruit toast are some of the fresh baked treats one can order as a take away. The price is nominal for the freshness and serving size of each pasty or hot beverage. Do visit this cafe to support the local baristas and enjoy their hospitality.

We ordered takeaway and we waited over 30 minutes while people who ordered after us received their food and left. I don’t know why it took so long as they weren’t especially busy (several empty tables). The ordering system is clunky and the entry way gets clogged up with people because it takes so long for them to take orders. We thought the coffee would come out while we waited but my partner didn’t get his coffee until the takeaway was given to us, and they forgot what he ordered twice and had to ask him again, meaning that we actually received the food and then STILL had to wait for the coffee. We asked for a muffin as well and they attempted to give us the wrong flavour twice. His coffee was the wrong size and he said it tasted burnt. His meal was tasty and a good size, but my meal, while tasty, was poorly presented and missing the hash brown it was meant to come with so it wasn’t enough food. Because we waited for the coffee at the end, by the time we drove home (less than 5 mins) the food was cold. I have had a good experience at this cafe about a year ago so we thought we’d try it again, but after this we won’t be returning. We paid $46 and I don’t think it...

Being a bit of a foodie (or just a fatty lol) who loves to cook, I have high expectations when eating out so I always check reviews first. The reviews were pretty impressive for BR and so I came here for brunch a week ago... and I've been thinking all week about coming back again this weekend to try their lunch menu! The food here is sooo good!

I had the Zaatar Oregano Breakfast and it was divine: Lebanese food turned into a light but filling cafe style breakfast. I also had an almond milk mocha - the best one I've had in Sydney so far. My partner had the Kafta and Eggs Breakfast which was also amazing.

For dessert we took home a lemon tart and cherry ripe and both were delicious - I highly recommend the lemon tart if you don't have much of a sweet tooth as the cherry ripe, though more-ish, was pretty sweet. Personally I preferred the tart. Yum.

Overall, I give this place 5 stars for great customer service, awesome well-lit and airy dining area, and best of all really great food with hearty portions and a reasonable price.

You have a new regular who doesn't mind driving 25 mins once a week for a great coffee. Thanks...

Definitely like the makeover to this space, very fresh for five ways. Something new that looks like what you get in a Westfield without the parking issues. So there was a few reviews here so decided to give it a try and the coffee was good I just needed to take away. At $4.20 for a large it's probably not that out of line with pricing in suburban Sydney. I had a quick scan at the menu and the pricing probably looked a little bit on the high side they had scrambled eggs on toast for $16 which I think normally comes in most places around 12 or $14. They also had a breakfast board minimum two people paying $28 each which sounded ridiculous but the owner explain that normally it's an option for families so that you don't have to order for the kids and they can just pick off what they want. So if you were going to get something for a family of 4 then it's probably not a bad deal but might be an idea to rename the product the family breakfast board or something. The staff were very attentive so I'm looking forward to giving...
