Extremely dissapointing food and service experience at Brunch Cafe and Grill.

I ordered the American Style beef burger which said it came with American mustard but it came out with mayo/burger sauce, ketchup and mustard.

My partner ordered a chicken burger and asked for no mayo but it came out full of mayo anyway.

The burgers themselves were bland, sloppy and so full of sauce that it was leaking out, the buns were soggy and falling apart.

They replaced my partner's burger but I asked for mine to be stricken off the bill. (Normally I would just ask for a replacement, but the quality of burger was so poor that I didn't want another one.)

Staff tried to argue that "American mustard" on the menu actually was referring to the mayo burger sauce that they used so they would not take the item off the bill.

I had to argue that there was actual mustard on the burger, but also mayo which was not advertised on the menu at all. Eventually they relented and took the burger off the bill, but I had to fight for it. Only after arguing did they even offer to replace the burger.

(I've attached an image of the burger as well as their uber eats menu listing which says 'mustard sauce'. Their real life menu says 'American mustard' but I didn't get a photo. I've never seen "American mustard" look quite like that!)

Would recommend to steer very clear of this mayo...

Brilliant Brunch @brunchcafegrill Sefton, Sydney😀

This was a very, very special brunch because it was with my friend Ruba with whom I used to work in the bank with. Miracles do happen & there is a reason for everything! So one of the reasons for why I had to start this Instagram page was to find this friend on Brunch Cafe & Grill’s Insta page😀 This special reunion was after 18 years so it was amazing to catch up with her & we enjoyed our reunion over this brilliant brunch spread.

Everything was so fresh, delicious & well presented.

It was lovely to meet the owner of the cafe- Chef Essam & thank you so much for your generous hospitality & outstanding service & delicious cooking🙂 You made our special reunion extra special & very memorable🙂 We will visit again soon, God willing. Thank you, Zainab

Was left a little disappointed with this place. Will start with the positives - the coffee came out super fast and was nice and hot which is great. The food also came out super quick. We also enjoyed the Aussie looking lady who served us (I apologise for not having a better description of her, I didn’t catch her name). The negatives were that the other waitresses were a bit awkward.. we asked for activity book for our daughters and the waitress brought only one out initially. Probably an honest mistake but this upset my oldest daughter quite a bit 😆 so then we asked for another one, and she got us one… but it was used. Half the book was already done and scribbled on. Daughter wasn’t a happy camper after that. As for the food, we ordered the platter and I gotta say overall it was a little underwhelming. Didn’t feel it was worth the price and in particular no one in our family enjoyed the sausage.. had a weird Smokey flavour with but maybe that’s just our personal taste. Maybe we would’ve had a better food experience if we ordered individual dishes instead. Side note, if possible it would be great to incorporate a change table in the bathroom for the little ones. Overall it’s not a bad place but couldn’t ignore the couple of flaws that...
