Cafe 2232 Loftus — Restaurant in Sydney

I recently had the pleasure of trying the homemade frittata at Cafe 2232 Loftus, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were rich and satisfying, making it a dish I highly recommend. Additionally, the side dishes were equally delightful and perfectly complemented the frittata. Not only was the food outstanding, but the staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. I waited 30 minutes for a takeaway chicken salad, the cafe was not busy and people with much more complicated meals and who ordered after me were served first. When I enquired about my order, I was told that if I wanted an order by a certain time I would have to call the cafe in advance. I would've done this however I didn't realise it would take almost over 30 minutes for a simple salad. I couldn't stay any longer so ended up just leaving without my food....

This is a pleasant cafe that does all of the basics well without being exceptional. The food and drinks were good; good eggs, nice toast, nice coffee. The mango smoothie was huge, although a bit lacking in flavour. There is sadly no 'big breakfast' equivalent, and building one by adding extras to the $12 eggs on toast ends up too expensive. Finally... there are no hash browns anywhere...
