How can a small cafe that employs 5 girls at the front get everything so wrong?
Today my girlfriend and I attended this establishment expecting a good meal and good experience. However, what we got was very lacklustre and we will not be coming back again.
First of all, we noticed how overstaffed the cafe was - 5 girls to run the front of a pretty small cafe, so we were expecting strong and attentive service. A girl came up to us and took our order on her phone, and then right after, proceeded to take the order of the table next to us.
We then waited a long time for our meal to come. We noticed one of the dishes from the table next to us came out (the same burger we ordered), we assumed it was because my girlfriend ordered an oven baked dish so they wanted to give them to us at the same time. My girlfriend's dish came out (which was not very good and lacked flavour); however, we were still missing my meal. The two people on the table next to us asked us what our order was, and it was only then that we realised that our food was incorrectly delivered to the wrong table a long time ago. That was also the moment that the 5 girls realised their mistake when they were holding two OTHER burgers for the same table (the correct order). One of the girls then proceeded to take the wrong burger off their table (our burger) and take it back to the kitchen, and after about 5 mins, came to our table and said our burger would be ready soon. This meant that I didn't get my food for 30 mins since I ordered due to their incompetence. When we finally got our burger, there was no flavour at all in the burger - literally the pickles had more flavour than the entire burger.
The cherry on top was my girlfriend also ordering a matcha frappe (which alone was super thick, almost undrinkable), and wanting to get it takeaway. She went up to the front counter and the girl proceeded to give her a takeaway cup and expected my girlfriend to pour her matcha frappe herself. This alone shows poor customer service and laziness.
They do not care about your dining experience and customer service, and don't care if they have a returning customer or not. Throughout our entire lunch, the staff seemed to only be concerned about chatting amongst themselves or to tables with their friends.
It's okay if the food doesn't taste great (everyone's entitled to their own opinion), but the poor customer service is unacceptable.

Read moreI went in with my hubby to have breakfast here but the minutes we walked in the coffee shop was much colder than outside temperature I was surprised usually in winter time all the coffee shop temperature warmer than outside so I was wondered and addressed my curiousity to the waiter who has served us, why inside colder than outside he said he didn’t think so and walked off instead of saying something better to reply me or instead just say a few words that could comforted me in the cold weather he went back into where he were near the open kitchen and just multered with other staff talking about what I was mentioned about how cold the shop, discussing something behind my back but I could clearly hear it???? How rude!!!! What’s more, he brought my order scrambled egg w/ extra halloumi cheese again without salt and pepper, didn’t even bother to ask what else I might need which is a normal question to ask if they offered table service.
