Chestnut Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Sydney

We recently celebrated my son’s 1st birthday at Chestnut Cafe, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Since the party fell on Father’s Day, most venues we considered weren’t accepting bookings, but by chance I came across their ad on social media — and I’m so glad I did!

From the very beginning, the team exceeded my expectations. Their communication and customer service were excellent, always prompt and friendly. They took the time to understand my requirements and worked with me to create a menu that fit perfectly within my budget. They also provided ongoing support with logistics, which made planning so much easier.

The venue itself is spacious, accommodating over 100 guests comfortably, with both indoor and outdoor areas, plus plenty of parking onsite and nearby. The food was abundant, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious — our guests were raving about it.

I recently visited Chestnut Cafe and Catering in Rosehill, and I have to say, I was really disappointed with their burger. First off, the bun was stale and felt like it had been sitting out for days. It made the whole experience less enjoyable, as it was dry and crumbly.

The burger patty itself was overcooked and lacked any seasoning, making it taste bland and rubbery. I was expecting a juicy, flavorful bite, but instead, it was like chewing on a piece of cardboard. To make matters worse, the toppings were subpar. The lettuce was wilted, the tomatoes were flavorless, and the cheese barely melted.

Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and regretting my choice to order a burger here. I really hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver. I doubt I’ll be coming back for their burgers...

Big menu most of there menu is not made fresh, burgers are all frozen meat patties, they don't even know how to cook a burger with frozen patties, i bought there so called Angus burger today the meat was not even cooked it was half raw, you can see they have no restaurant experience, am surprised that this place still surviving , save yourself the hassle and eat MacDonald instead,not to mention the rude staff...
