The Italian food here is spectacular. How do they find that much flavor!?

We booked on a Saturday night (and you would need to, as it is popular). The decorations are light and inviting with pleasing Italian pictures of people and art on the walls.

The place is moderately sized so that multiple families could sit in this place comfortably. There was a family of ~20 next to us singing happy birthday to the lucky girl and we were not disturbed by their celebrations.

The staff were professional and attentive and the wait time for the food was not noticeably long.

And the food. This was the star of the show (if you're Italian, you must come here)! We ordered the garlic bread for an entree which was light and nicely balanced with garlic on a lightly buttered bread that was baked to a pleasantly crunchy texture.

The main meal was a homemade beef lasagne and a Big Meat pizza. The lasagne was covered in delicious rich sauce and just melted in your mouth with each bite. The pizza had a crisp texture (not overcooked) but finds the perfect balance of cheese where it does not overwhelm any of the meats but is enough to ensure they do not burn. Very impressive.

Sadly, there was no chocolate mousse on the menu for dessert!

Will happily come back here for a slightly fancy dinner with family, a partner, or myself!

Sadly we had an awful time. The service was extremely bad despite the fact we were 1 of only 3 groups dinning (all groups of 4) We had to wait for over 50min and had to ask twice just to get our drinks. The waitress had no idea what she was doing so any questions we had , had to be relayed to someone else. The bruschetta was supposed to have Parmesan but didn’t, the antipasto was good. My friend and I both ordered Chicken Santini but the garlic peppercorn and mustard sauce was so salty neither of us could eat it. The chicken was so charred it was dry and unpleasant. The vegetables were ok if you scraped the sauce off. When I complained after 2 mouthfuls the woman just said she would let them know in the kitchen and thanked me for telling her. Despite 2 people reporting the same there was no offer of an alternative or of taking it off the bill.Our husbands were unimpressed with over-char grilled chicken tainting the boscaiola also. Having not eaten much my friend and I decided to try desert. We ordered crepes. They were described as being served with strawberries and banana. The crepes were tough and rubbery and although there was banana inside the only strawberry was a small half as a garnish. I walked into the restaurant and asked the staff for a table for 1, and asked if I could be seated outside and the lovely Sophia walked straight outside and organised a table, chairs and without asking opened a large umbrella and made me feel extremely welcomed. She is amazing, stunning, kind, sincere, very professionally and amazing at taking care of your needs. Like always I have special orders and Sophia took care of those needs with a smile. She deserves 5 stars and that 4 star doesn't recollect her review as she is 5 stars no doubt the finest service. She did ask about the food and I said not bad but your service was exceptional. I like to thank the other waitress to for asking if I was ready. She was lovely shame I didn't have time to meet her too. Thank you Sophia if I did come back would be for your service only
