I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the amazing mutton biryani that I recently had at your restaurant. It was truly an unforgettable culinary experience!
From the moment that the dish was presented to me, I could tell that it was something special. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the presentation was beautiful. But it was the flavor that really blew me away. The tender and succulent pieces of mutton were perfectly cooked and infused with spices that were both subtle and complex. The biryani rice was fluffy and aromatic, with just the right amount of heat and seasoning.
The attention to detail that went into the preparation of the dish was evident in every bite. It was clear that the ingredients were of the highest quality, and that the chefs put their hearts and souls into creating this masterpiece.
In addition to the food, the service at your restaurant was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made me feel welcome and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of amazing.
Overall, I would highly recommend your restaurant to anyone seeking delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. Your mutton biryani was one of the best I have ever tasted, and I cannot wait to return and try more of your dishes.
Thank you for an unforgettable...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Deccan Flavours in Auburn, and overall, my experience was fairly good, though thereās definitely room for improvement. The restaurant has a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff are generally courteous and attentive, though during peak hours, service can feel a bit rushed or inconsistent.
I tried a variety of dishes including the Chicken 65, Hyderabadi Biryani, and the Goat Curry. The Chicken 65 was crispy and flavorful, a good starter to begin with. The Biryani had authentic spices and a decent aroma, but I felt the rice was slightly overcooked and the portion of meat could have been more generous for the price. The Goat Curry had a nice depth of flavor.
Pricing is reasonable compared to other Hyderabadi-style eateries in the area, and the menu offers a wide range of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians.
The cleanliness of the dining area was acceptable, but I did notice that tables werenāt cleared very promptly after diners left. This made the place feel a bit chaotic during busy hours.
Overall, Deccan Flavours offers a good introduction to South Indian and Hyderabadi cuisine in Auburn. Iād recommend it for casual dining, especially if you're craving some spicy, home-style Indian dishes. With a little attention to consistency and speed of service, it could easily...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHeard about this place from some friends so went to try it out. Ordered the Haleem, Butter Chicken, Pita bread (Naan was not available) and hyderabadi chicken biryani. The haleem was way too oily and had a sticky gooey texture. I have had a few dozen different types of haleems in my life but this definitely wasn't in my top 10. My wife and I couldn't even finish the haleem. The butter chicken portions were very small and tasted average but at least not old and stale like it does in a lot of other Indian restaurants. The biryani was supposed to be the highlight, but it really left us in a bad state as the rice was a bit dry and the flavour from the chicken was too gingery. I have had hyderabadi dum biryani all the time and in fact it gets made from scratch at home. This biryani seemed as if the rice was just mixed in chicken curry with an overdose of ginger paste. So more negative points, there is no tabled water (consider where this restaurant is located with some super popular lebanese, pakistani restaurants surrounding them who serve tabled water and also provide raita, salad with the biryani, which wasnt the case at...
