Auburn Fresh Juice Centre — Restaurant in Sydney

Two words: Special Falooda. I saw multiple people walking by with a colourful cup of joy in their hands and thought what the heck is that, and I need it in my body ASAP. Walking in to this establishment you could imagine that it looks like any old juice shop. Greeted with bright white walls, and multiple picture-less tacky colourful menus with price indicators scribbled out to account for inflation. I knew straight away I knew what I wanted as it was all in the name - Special Falooda.

After waiting a mere minute, my order was called out. I innocently plucked it off the high countertop, and immediately inspected it with my nose. A rush of floral notes from the rose syrup, and nutty goodness from the variety of toppings. Its smells as great as it looks.

After taking the first spoonful, I could feel my eyes immediately dilate and I knew I wanted more. As I have had watermelon cake before, this was probably my immediate comparison, but better. The variety of being able to spoon pure deliciousness and dopamine into your mouth and sipping on what looks like the brains of an animal is what makes it so fun to eat.

I still have no idea what I was eating but it was great. There was a pleasant surprise when sipping on the straw. You get a mouthful of tasty equivalent of cendol. If you told me it was endangered squid tentacles, sorry PETA, but there’s no stopping me now. Definitely something worth sharing as I tried my best to finish the entire cup, but I was on the verge of refunding...

Auburn Fresh Juice Centre has a great variety of Falooda, fresh juices, shakes & ice cream. They are made fresh & are very tasty.

If you are in the area, do drop in for these tasty treats especially with our hot Summer coming up, they are the perfect way to cool down. Their service is very friendly too.
