I had the pleasure of dining at DJ Vietnamese Pho Ingleburn recently, and it was a great experience! Arriving at 5:30 on a busy Thursday evening, the restaurant had such a buzz with a room filled with hungry locals. Despite the crowd, we were quickly seated, securing one of the last available tables for two.
We started with the fresh spring rolls, followed by the beef pho and diced beef with butter and pepper. Our appetizers literally arrived within minutes, swiftly followed by our mains. The pho boasted a rich, flavorful broth, complemented by a selection of condiments that enhanced my experience.
The beef in both dishes was SO tender, clearly showcasing the chef's skills. What's more, the value for money was exceptional, with the bill totaling just under $60 for two, including drinks.
Overall, DJ Vietnamese Pho Ingleburn exceeded my expectations in every aspect – from the prompt service to the outstanding quality of...
Read moreThis place was fantastic when it first opened, it quickly got a cult following with people coming from all over Sydney to try their amazing beef pho soup. The soup to this day is still pretty good but not as mind blowing as it use to be when this place first opened.
Food here has gone down hill fast, since re-opening post covid, meals are just tastless, portions are small and the price has jumped, i.e $20 for stir fry beef with salad and tomato rice, it seems ok until you realise the salad is literally 1 sliced tomato piece, 1 sliced piece of cucumber and half a lettuce leaf, the rice is served in abundance and the beef is a small tiny portion that easily fits in the palm of your hand, to add the meat is chewy and bland.
Service is good but in your face, you dont even get a chance to look at the menu and you are asked what you want whilst they wait impatiently for you.
I think yesterdays visit will...
Read moreI've been to this restaurant for years and have been happy with the food and services. The menu has been updated with more delicious food and greater varieties.
However, I regret to give a low rating start due to their online order system. I order salt and pepper calamari via their online ordering system and paid for it at the counter. When picking up my order, I found out that the salt and pepper calamari magically turned into a dish called "diced pork", which is nowhere to be found on the menu.
It left me no choice, as it was what was written on the docket. Then I found out that there were lots of salty and sour pickles, as well as cooked soggy lettuce (usually a side dish) mixed in the chicken taste "diced pork" stir fry at a high price of a seafood dish.
I may go back again, but I will not let such mistake go next...
