Absolute worst experience at a breakfast cafe I have ever had. I ordered me and my partners breakfast. Big breakfast for him and smashed avo for me. The lady at the counter acknowledged everything I said politely and I paid $70 with extras and drinks. Patiently waiting for my food she brings everything out except for my smash avo. I then notice there was not many eggs on my partners big breaky so I went and asked for more as there was not enough. After I ordered and sat down I notice the girls at the counter talking about me and as I looked they quickly looked away. Thinking I didn’t notice. At this point I was more upset and then went to ask for my smash avo and she tells me u didn’t order that. I was so confused and said I certainly did. And she goes on to tell me I didn’t pay for that. She prints a receipt and shows me she did not charge me for that. I then said I can’t believe the price goes to this much just for one meal and some extras. She was absolutely so rude to me and did not apologise for her mistake. Made me feel like a fool and like I’m stupid for thinking I ordered that. I will never come back to this place ever again and left there feeling embarrassed and upset. Worst customer service...
Read moreEDIT TO ADD REPLY My friend and I checked the menu in the cafe twice- once before ordering, then again when paying at the counter after eating (to make sure I wasn't just misreading), it clearly stated tomato relish was served with the fritters. Glad it works for you but maybe, the instore menus should be updated. Goodluck with the future of your store 👍🏻
While I haven’t visited for a while, I was genuinely disappointed with today’s lunch. I ordered the zucchini and corn fritters, which have always been a favourite of mine. While I understand the price increase given the current climate, the drop in quality and service was hard to overlook.
The fritters arrived missing the tomato relish entirely—without any explanation—and were served with only the tiniest drizzle of balsamic (barely a quarter teaspoon). Instead, there was an overwhelming dollop of smashed avocado, which threw the balance of the dish off completely.
Service was also underwhelming. Apart from taking our order and bringing the food out (initially the wrong dish), there was little to no engagement or attentiveness from staff.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me...
Read moreThis cafe has a nice outdoor alfresco setting and decent sized indoor seating. I have been to this cafe a once before and that was not a very good experience. The second time I ordered a regular coffee & cake from the breakfast menu which cost $8, which is quite expensive in my opinion because I know in Sydney CBD you can get a deal for $6.5 with nicer cakes and coffee. The coffee at beans N bite use Toby’s estate coffee beans which supposedly meant to taste nice with a nice aroma flavour. I asked for honey in mind and was charged an extra 50 cents which they did not tell me, normally honey should be free. I am a regular coffee drinker so I know what’s a good coffee, even with honey in there you should be able to taste the aroma. Unfortunately they overpowered the coffee with honey so all I could taste was honey! When a bad coffee is served with a nice coffee bean then it’s the barista’s lack of skills and experience. Personally if you going to pay $4 and all you can taste is milk I would rather just drink milk from...
