I visited your cafe on Monday 2nd December and I mentioned that I have a sesame allergy. Unfortunately, despite informing staff, I was severed a dish containing sesame not once but twice. This was not only disappointing but also concerning for my health, as sesame can trigger a severe allergic reaction. Which it did and I needed to seek medical attention for it. Your staff need to be trained to ensure proper food handling and staff are made aware of allergen awareness and what ingredients are used in the meals when someone has an allergy and its unacceptable that my allergy wasn't taken seriously, especially after I informed staff. Your customers safety should always come first and you need to listen when they tell you they are allergic to something. It’s hard to find a good coffee now days but you have surprised me garden of eden. I’ve had some good meals from here. Only thing I will say is potion sizes are quite small for eggs/avo. My husband ordered a big breakfast and wasn’t too impressed which is a shame cause I told him it was a great cafe (which I still think so). However I’ve tried the smashed avo and shashukka both were nice. Also the shakes are displayed on the walls and look very appealing but when I ordered one it had no garnish or crumble like the picture.
