Very poor customer service, definitely won’t be coming back.

Ordered a Creme brûlée from here and it was extremely light in colour, tasted very diluted, had poor flavour & bland. Coffee was very weak. I asked the female staff if she could make me a new drink but she was unsure of what to do and went to ask the male staff who made my drink. She came back, said no and walked away.

So I spoke to the make staff and he kept insisting that he’ll just add another shot of coffee into my current drink or more powder and reblend it for me and continuously refused to make me a new one? I said that I wanted him to make me a new one because adding more coffee or powder now will change the recipe of the drink.

We went back and forth multiple times with him refusing to make my drink again saying “I can’t do that” every time I asked him to make me a new drink. His reason was that the drink will taste the same because he would make it in the same way. He then stated “No one’s ever complained before” (Google reviews state otherwise). I’m sorry, but that is not a validated reason that because it hasn’t happened before, that it’s not allowed to happen now?

He questioned “Do you normally order from this store?” There’s a standard when it comes to making your drinks and sometimes it can be a little off, but this was horrible, this deviated far from standard.

Not once did he apologise, I actually apologised to him in case I had upset him about the drink he made. He responded “I just don’t see how making another drink will make a difference. So what do you want me to do?” I said “I want you to make me a new drink” Finally, he frustratingly threw things together into a blender with pre-made shots sitting in a mug from prior to our whole debacle (which was most likely the problem to begin with).

Horrible service experience, I ordered 2 large coffee drinks which cost $15, then went to order a sandwich from the store next door since they had no sandwich options made early in the morning.

I came back to sit there after I got my sandwich with our drinks with my wife and she refused us to sit down asking us to leave since we had food from another store. It's Ridiculous, what horrible service to kick us out unless we order everything from them, keep in mind they also had 0 customers sitting down with all the chairs being empty.

the coffee wasn't even good and the horrid service made it taste worse. Don't come here until they grow some manners and a business sense. Ruining the franchise brand name of Gloria Jean's.

Reply - what kind of response is that? Have some class and show responsibility or you'll be out of business. What a sorry excuse for a business owner. No wonder you have a 2-star rating. I'm surprised Gloria Jean's hasn't cancelled your store by now.

Also if you have the time to sit on your phone replying to all your negative reviews without changing or learning anything is just sad.

Today I went to get a coffee and the lady serving was extremely rude. When I first approached the store there was no one there at all, and a sign saying someone would be back in 30 mins. After doing a few other things and coming back, the lady behind the counter was making coffees, and ignored myself and my partner standing ready to order for probably 5 mins. No 'I'll be with you in a minute' etc, just plain ingored. We actually went to walk away when she finally took our orders, we sat down. I had not eaten all day and pulled out a sandwich to which she rudely and very loudly said to me "you can't eat that here". Which, after paying for two coffees, is a weird rule, so, not only will I not eat there, I'll make sure I don't visit again ever. I don't know if she was having a bad day, or whether she was just not in the mood, but you are paid to be in the mood. You are paid to serve customers and if you don't want to, maybe consider a different career. Coffee was great, but I'll take mine with two sugars and...
