Hungry Jack's Burgers Granville — Restaurant in Sydney

The entrance and inside of the restaurant are extremely dirty with the bathroom being the worst, being inside made my physically gag and hold back my vomit while the cash register and inside dining reeked of aged grease to the point where it causes some people to be lightheaded and a hazard if you were to not be careful. One time, the floor was freshly mopped which basically looked like a puddle of water with no sign, causing a child to slip, with the staff doing nothing whatsoever even after it happened.

Speaking of which, the staff is horrible, where I once waited over 5 minutes to even be served when there were no diners or people at the drive thru. The staff are also rude and ignorant, with this woman once making comments about my speech saying how my voice is weird and quiet, another one overcharging the onion rings and just walking away after they served me with me trying to get his attention with nothing being. This is very evident with the cashiers who get very sidetracked easily and can't finish serving one person before focusing on a different task and holding up everyone, that is if they even do anything as some of them just lean back on the counter and chat when there are people waiting.

The food is overall okay, but with everything I mentioned, I highly advise anyone to not go hear as both the environment and staff are horrible. You're better off eating somewhere...

Went through drive through the other night, it took 20 minutes from ordering to actually getting the food. I get that it gets busy sometimes but this place is pretty notorious for long wait times when it gets busy.

That wasn't actually what I had an issue with though. I ordered a large double whopper with cheese meal and what I got was a mangled mess with 6 beef patties on it. After patiently waiting twenty minutes with no comment or complaint, that was disappointing.

I just decided to take the 4 extra patties off and eat the mess as best as I could anyway because I was starving at that point. I took a bite out of the burger and realised one of the patties I'd taken off had ALREADY HAD A BITE TAKEN OUT OF IT! 🤮🤮🤮

I was so disgusted I dumped it in the bin immediately, but I should have taken photos.

I wasn't going to post anything but the more I think about it, the more disgusted and angry I feel. Whoever was working putting burgers together that night had no right to be making food for people. I should have gone back immediately for a refund but I had already driven home and was exhausted and starving hence the fast food (which was not bloody fast at all).

Never going to this...

Very disappointed with my latest trip to Hungry Jack's Granville.

Went through the drive through and waited about 10 minutes before I could place my order. After placing it the staff repeated it correctly then when I went to pay they stated the wrong order.

More waiting until I got to the pickup area and they got my order wrong again and didn't seem to have it as they asked the staff to make it after I repeated it. Then they tried to charge me again until I told them I paid already.

After they gave me the food and I told them the ice-cream was missing and they said the machine was broken. I had told three separate people my order and no one had told me the machine was broken until now, despite being charged for it. They said they'd give me a drumstick but after waiting a few minutes and nothing happening I just left after being tired of waiting.

When I got home the burger was cold to the touch and likely the patties had been sitting around on not fresh of the grill, the fries were brown and dry likely recooked.

Overall I understand mistakes happen especially on busy days, however next time I'll just go to Macdonald's as they know how to serve...
