Hungry Jack's Burgers Sylvania — Restaurant in Sydney

What an absolute hole of a place this is. Where to start. I placed my order at one of those self service machines. Just as a paid for my order, a gentleman and his 2 young children had just recieved their food. Not a couple of minutes later, he complained to the manager that the burgers were cold. She said she could heat them up them. Wait? Heat them up? They had been bitten into already so how would she heat them up? Further to their order, they had only recieved part of it as the rest was not ready.

I waited 25mins to finally get my order They received the rest of theirs a few minutes before I recieved mine. They must have been there for over 30mins waiting for their food. During this time, people were coming in from the drive through. It wasn't moving. At all. 1 person asked multiple times for here order and the issues.. guess it... NO MEAT was cooked. How does a Burger place not have amy meat cooked? The young teenage manager asked the young teenage boys whay are they waiting on, they simply joked and laughed about it. Other young teenage female staff could not give a rats arse that people's order was not ready. People complained, they laughed. The same lady that asked 3 times previously asked again but itbwas a different staff member. The staff member, yup, another young teenage girl walked off, turned and said, it's not ready. No sorry, no.. it will be a few mins. Just it's not ready and continued walking.

Ok so when finally recieved my order, after around 25mins of waiting for meat to be cooked, one woikd think that the Whoppe lr would be hot. NO! it was barely warm. The cheese was like it had just come out of the fridge. It was cold and showed no signs of melting at all. The meat was dry and dark. This wasn't freshly cooked. This was cooked and reheated. It was horrible.

This is what you get when you let a bunch of silly, giggly female teenagers (including the manager) and what i think were 2 males teenagers cooking, run a major fast food branch with absolutely no authority at all.

Teenagers these days have no work ethic at all. They have no pride, no respect and just don't give a crap.

Stay away...

This has to be worst operated Hungry Jacks around.

The state of the restaurant is absolutely disgusting, there was left over meals on tables everywhere and they had 3 bottles of Biscoff sauce spilt all over the customer counter.

You have kids running the restaurant who are more interested in their social scene rather than focusing on why they are being paid and that's getting orders fulfilled promptly.

We waited almost 30 minutes in store for just 2 meals and 2 extra burgers.

The boy processing the drink orders thought it was a good idea to fill the frozen drinks before the meals were ready and then left them on the counter to melt for the next 15 minutes.

I had to ask them to refill the drinks when the food was finally handed over.

No greeting when the orders were finally given and no apologies for the absolutely ridiculous delays.

The drive thru queues looked just as chaotic, there had to be at least 15-20 vehicles queued in the line.

This store is an absolute embarrassment to the chain, and the question begs, how do you not have a manager on site to manage a store on probably the busiest night of the week, or if there was a manager, what on earth are they doing, because there was no visible presence at front of house to help manage the chaos.

Fast Food,...

I wish I could zero star this place. I ordered a burger but ask for a different sauce, they seem to get it wrong every time. Food looks like it is literally thrown together. My burger wasn't even in the box properly, it was literally exposed from the patty and up. The staff seemed to be all kids working and no one wore gloves from what I saw. The manager and the person at the window were extremely impatient and rude then to top it all off when they got my order wrong they used the same soggy crumbling box for the new burger which seems like they just scraped the sauce they got wrong off and applied the correct sauce. It is a shame this is the only Hungry Jacks in this area. I would advise to avoid if you can. The last time I made the same order they ended up getting my order wrong 3 times in a row, they didn't seem at all concerned with the fact the staff couldn't perform a simple task which then led me to have to demand a refund since they were trying to deny me at first. If you are local and looking for fast food, go to Maccas or skip a meal. I am hoping it's just that my timing is bad and i catch a trash shift, but just so anyone who reads this knows, it was roughly 8pm on a Thursday night. I think I will be taking the trip to Engadine or Wiley Park...
