Have you tried Indian or Sri Lankan food in Sydney Australia ๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿฆ˜ ? Why not give this a try. Its located in Seven Hills. In my opinion... this restaurant is the best in cleanliness, food , value & quality. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ Closed on Monday's. Be prepared to wait for a table as extremely crowed during meal times especially weekends. Dining area was super clean. We had lunch there and also ordered takeaways.Takeaways available separate from dining area. A must try place for authentic Indian & Sri Lankan food. We ordered prawn curry, fish curry, idli's and string hoppers. They gave generous portions and it tasted great. ๐Ÿ‘ Prices are very reasonable as compared with overall Sydney food standards. Spices were mild in my opinion but check with staff if you can't take the heat or take yogurt with your food to reduce the spicyness & balance the heat or check with your doctor for their advice. There was ample parking space. If you are travelling by train ..check your area & timetables ..shop is located directly infront of the Seven Hills Train Station, you can't miss it. Hope you give it a try and then decide for yourself. Remember to check online for opening hours and opening days. Enjoy. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I've been to Indo Lankan several years ago and it was a hit! I think I had sweet coconut appam with palm sugar. They have a variety of sri Lankan short eats as well as string hoppers, pittu, appam and kothu versions of these. We were hoping for the thali set on the banana leaf but this wasn't available today. Instead I had lamb briyani which was hot ๐Ÿฅต but tasted more Indian than Sri Lankan and spices just meh.๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ To be fair, it wasn't bad: it came with an egg & raita, had enough lamb and cashews and wasn't too heavy or oily. Mango lassi satisfactory. Decor looks a bit shabby. I hope they can update things a little bit, such as their billing system. Also the bathroom had not been stocked with paper towels. Standards slipping, I don't know why locals still think this is the place to go.

Very Disappointed with Kothu Rotti Order โ€“ Not Worth $114 I ordered Kothu Rotti for my sonโ€™s birthday, spending a total of $114, and honestly, this was one of the most disappointing food experiences weโ€™ve had. The meat Kottu Rotti didnโ€™t contain a single piece of meat. The vegetable with egg Kottu Rotti had no egg and was just a random mix of vegetables. This wasnโ€™t even close to what Kottu Rotti is supposed to be - honestly, I feel like I need to come up with a new name for it! We expected something special for the occasion, and instead got food that was completely off the mark. For $114, this is simply unacceptable. Iโ€™ve attached photos as proof. Please refund our money - this was not what we ordered or paid for.

Totally indifferent and unfriendly woman at the counter when we stopped for take away food yesterday 18th October. No greeting, no smile, no welcome. Just an attitude that said to us "hurry up I've got better things to do". Had no idea of customer service, very poor listener and expects you to swipe your card without showing you the amount she processed! When told her attitude and service was unacceptable she just said "it's ok" and walked away before we even left the store!! Please don't use the word "Lankan" as you don't make any authentic Sri Lankan dishes any more and your staff know nothing about Sri Lankan hospitality and service (this is also from other visits). You fool people to come to your restaurant advertising "Hoppers on Sunday" but many times we get the excuse that the Chef is off sick! Your service, quality and standards have dropped dramatically as we have been coming to your restaurant for over 30 years but will not return! There are plenty of other authentic restaurants at Toongabbie, Pendle Hill and Wentworthville who provide quality food at a reasonable price which we will give our business to...

Ordered Rasam takeaway. Opened at home and found a small cockroach in there...ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING...FILTHY....Wonder how these guys are allowed to operate a business like this.....Everyone out there, please look into your takeaway carefully next time.....

Indo Lanka management...do you understand what you have done. I would have fallen seriously ill or for that matter anyone else can..due to your total disregard for hygiene....Do one thing..Please close your shop and go back to join a Hygiene course..even before you start learning to cook again...

I know the Rasam cost only $2...but that does not mean i should be fed with a cockroach...unhygienic, inconsiderate practice you have...And yes I could have driven back with that Rasam all the way back to your place..but I have no hopes that you will do anything other than giving a lame apology...

I will be very much happy to notify Food authorities of this.

Wonder why I am even forced to give one star here...yeah that's because so i can click the...
