Have you tried Indian or Sri Lankan food in Sydney Australia ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ ? Why not give this a try. Its located in Seven Hills. In my opinion... this restaurant is the best in cleanliness, food , value & quality. ๐ ๐ ๐ Closed on Monday's. Be prepared to wait for a table as extremely crowed during meal times especially weekends. Dining area was super clean. We had lunch there and also ordered takeaways.Takeaways available separate from dining area. A must try place for authentic Indian & Sri Lankan food. We ordered prawn curry, fish curry, idli's and string hoppers. They gave generous portions and it tasted great. ๐ Prices are very reasonable as compared with overall Sydney food standards. Spices were mild in my opinion but check with staff if you can't take the heat or take yogurt with your food to reduce the spicyness & balance the heat or check with your doctor for their advice. There was ample parking space. If you are travelling by train ..check your area & timetables ..shop is located directly infront of the Seven Hills Train Station, you can't miss it. Hope you give it a try and then decide for yourself. Remember to check online for opening hours and opening days. Enjoy. ๐

I've been to Indo Lankan several years ago and it was a hit! I think I had sweet coconut appam with palm sugar. They have a variety of sri Lankan short eats as well as string hoppers, pittu, appam and kothu versions of these. We were hoping for the thali set on the banana leaf but this wasn't available today. Instead I had lamb briyani which was hot ๐ฅต but tasted more Indian than Sri Lankan and spices just meh.๐๐ To be fair, it wasn't bad: it came with an egg & raita, had enough lamb and cashews and wasn't too heavy or oily. Mango lassi satisfactory. Decor looks a bit shabby. I hope they can update things a little bit, such as their billing system. Also the bathroom had not been stocked with paper towels. Standards slipping, I don't know why locals still think this is the place to go.

For the true foodies and lovers of Southeast-Asian cuisine, this place offers both take-away and a dine-in restaurant bordering on fine dining. Located opposite the train station with plenty of car parking out front, this restaurant offers, no less than eight Biryanis. We were hoping to try their hoppers but like in other places that we had been to in the past, these are only available for dinner. We also enjoyed the spicy vegetable Kothu that was highly recommended. Very authentic and highly recommended.
