Jeff's Hideout Café — Restaurant in Sydney

This café is the hidden treasure of Thompson's corner. You can park your car in the carpark and find the café if you look for the sign next the laneway. I have discovered the whole community pops in here because the food is great. My favourite is the large hot chocolate (always good) the toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich (perfect) and a proper lamington. Do you realise how hard it is to get a decent lamington these days? While I sit and munch the ABC is on the TV, there is a local paper available. I noticed that the owner Lynton keeps a dog friendly bowl of water for furry friends outside. I walked into this cafe and asked for a Sandwitch. Upon realisibg that the cost would be less than 10 dollars and that EFTPOS will not be accepted, I asked the owner that I don't have cash and if he would accept credit card.

He said don't worry I don't have an EFTPOS and said you just enjoy your lunch and pay later when you are around. I said I don't know when I will be back again. Despite this he made to sit and made the choicest Sandwitch for me. He then bought me a coffee. This is despite him knowing fully I did not have the cash and chances of me coming back to his cafe were not known.

I thought I was walking into 1980's era. Such a warm and cosy place. Every customer was greeted with warmth and each meal is prepared while you are in the cafe.

The food is Awsome and service is great. People are welcoming there and it's just The best! Everything there is perfect. I'd suggest everyone coming to this Café. When you go, you don't want to leave. When you leave you want to go again tomorrow. Everything is Fantastic. When you are there you feel like you are at home, the owner is nice (super duper nice). If you don't go you're missing out on something Soooooooooooooooooooo good. After you go you won't regret it. It is the best Café I've been to in my life! You can get FRESH juice.
