We have enjoyed Johnnys Pizza & Pasta in the past, so thought it would be great to have a family dinner with friends tonight ....... major disaster. From the disappointing over hour wait for our meals, with six other take out orders and 4 other tables served before us with very little apology & " we forgot your order", to the non caring fact we had hungry kids who had been waiting patiently, to the family and thier hideous kids bullying our children who thought it funny. No intervention from staff to step in to the abuse we got on leaving. I can only assume that they are happy to have this kind of clientele. We won't be ordering or coming to Johnny's again and certainly won't recommend to anyone else. We're happy to support local business but not this one. Sorry guys you fell well short......

IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY. To clarify in the first instance we didn't start the argument with customers. You have one side of a story that obviously you don't care about. We intervened in a very nasty case of bullying by their child. It was not a case of kids being kids. Their son was in fact being really nasty to my girls. We actually attempted to smooth it over in a pleasant way to start off with and his parents thought it was funny and actually continued to encourage his behaviour. The father was a pretty uptight guy. We felt it best to leave before it escalated. Unfortunately people felt it necessary to make stupid comments directed at us when we left and laugh. Those same people you claim intervened. The situation was not at all funny. When I returned to confront the parents yes it got very heated and language was inappropriate. Given their behaviour I don't think that you can pass judgement on mine. Believe me I am not someone who loses my temper in public at all but they came at us, I am going to respond in kind. Any mother would not tolerate her kids being seriously bullied or any adults who actively encourage it. That is pretty obnoxious behaviour and yes I call...

Friday evening we decided to go for pizza 🍕at Johnny’s Pizza & Pasta.

Conveniently located between a Coles and a Petrol station, so plenty of free parking within walking distance.

Small shop with 5-6 tables for eat in, BYO allowed.

The shop was buzzing given its Friday night, lining up outside for takeaways, couple of families eating in & watching projector playing sports on the wall. Great vibe.

We ordered the recommended “Johnny’s Pizza” in large size from the Gourmet range.

The price difference is $4 between, SML

It came out looking fantastic, as you can see from the photos. They are not stingy on toppings and everything is so fresh.

I was slightly worried before taking the first bite that the pizza base would be thick and doughy, ruining the whole thing.

I was so glad I was proven wrong after the first bite. The base was just right, light & crispy and not doughy at all. That’s how you tell it’s handmade with love (and plenty of resting time for the fermentation to develop properly)

Toppings & sauce: well marinated lamb kofta, thinly sliced pepperoni, juicy tomato and a lot of fresh parsley 🌿. BBQ sauce was too sweet for my liking but definitely would go well with a cold beer 🍺

Really happy we found another local place to go in future.

Highly...

Jonny's Pizza West Pennant Hills Is the BEST pizza I've tasted in quite some time, here's why:

Temperature: every pizza I've ordered from Jonny's has been steaming hot on arrival, no literally - steaming, steam comes out of the air holes in the pizza box. This is great for those who like it hot, but also for those taking it home with them.

Slices: very accurate, and number of slices comes according to the size your order, for convenience.

Smell: everyone knows you've got a bomb of a pizza when such a rich, warm aroma is pouring out of each box.

Textures: Jonny's does a terrific job of ensuring the dough is on point, soft and fluffy, with a touch of crispness, as well as cooking their meat and veggies perfectly, just enough so it's hot and delicious, but never burned.

Flavour: many of the pizzas served at Jonny's come loaded with high quality sauces, meats & veggies cooked to perfection in epic combinations of flavours ranging from the veggie patch, to the butchery, all fresh and all amazing.

Noting is even close in comparison to the quality of food that Jonny's...

Simply amazing pizza’s, has to be up there with some of the best pizza I’ve had with great combinations and flavours. It’s a standard pizza shop atmosphere. It’s warm, cozy and a great smelling little joint. Ordering over the phone was a breeze and great experience for a first order from here. The gentleman on the phone was clear and well spoken and more than happy with any request. However I’m giving the service two stars for a different reason. When my partner and I arrived to pick up the order we were met with an abrasive attitude bordering on rude. Throughout the final process of the order I got the impression she did not have any patience while serving us. As we were picking up 2 separate orders we weren’t 100% sure what pizzas we were picking up. She verbally listed the order out but I was opening my phone to verify what the second order consisted of. While I was in the process of checking she made a short remark and just walked away out of frustration.

Johnny's is some of the best pizza you can get in Sydney. Seriously. It's also the only place I know where you can get insanely large 25" (63cm) pizza, known only as "The Big One"! We've been to Johnny's dozens of times, but most recently we ordered a Big One half and half. They inadvertently got the order for one of those halves wrong. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. We let them know and said we were happy to take a free small of the correct flavour for that half (half is the same size as two large pizza). No, instead they made ANOTHER Big One with the correct halves, for free!! Totally overkill in terms of compensation, but we really appreciated the gesture. Johnny's looks after its customers and we now have loads of pizza for the weekend!! So there was a bit of a spectacle with three of us having two Big Ones at our table, and it didn't go unnoticed by other patrons!! 😂
